The gang leader's cure

Chapter 3

I went to my bed knowing I have only 9 days left.
I soon drifted off to sleep and was awoken at about 3am.
Knock knock
" come in " I said shakily.
" I can't sleep I can usually handle it but not today" slash said

"Come in and sleep with me"

He rushed in and pulled me close his hot breath fanning on my neck

I'm the one who can't sleep tonight

I woke up with no one next to me and I realised Slash had gone I need to find out wats wrong with him.

I walked out in my night gown to his office and knocked.

"Yes " he replied

I entered " I want to know why you couldn't sleep " I said

He looked cold and said " no "

I was shocked to say the least.
" what's in your room " I asked

" nothing you need to know " he said with no emotion

" well why couldn't you sleep " I pressed on

" GET OUT " he shouted
I screamed and ran all the way to my room shutting the door and panting.

I tried to forget about what happened and I had my shower and changed into a pink shirt dress Josh got me.

I walked downstairs to have some breakfast and I saw the whole gang there waiting for something.

I spotted Josh and Sammy talking and I asked them " what is everyone waiting for"

" you " they replied .

I gasped not understanding then Sammy explained " they need you to make breakfast they fired the old chef it was a vote ."

I screamed I have to cook for over 100 people . " aghh "

I ran in and decided to make pancakes with the help of Sammy Josh and a new friends called Estiban .

It took over 2 hours but we were done .

I dropped the last pancake and let out a breath of air .

While everyone was eating I sat by myself in the kitchen washing up.

" go and eat " I recognised slash say

" erm ... It's ... Fine I ate already " I lied

" do not lie to me go eat in your room " he demanded

" yes sir " I found my self saying.
I grabbed 4 pancakes syrup and a bottle of apple juice.

I was sat in my room by myself eating when the door was pushed open revealing Josh.
I let out a breath of air. He sat next to me and said " you are really good at cooking "

I giggled blushing " thanks my mother taught me " I mumbled

" well I think I would like your mother " he whispered

I laughed and continued eating . I felt him lean closer and place a kiss on my cheek then get up and mutter a quick bye.

I was so confused about what just happened I then blushed beet red and went back to my food.
This pancake was food goals.

All day I was left by myself It was starting to get late and I was thinking what if Slash came again.

I decided If he came I was going to demand him to tell he what was wrong.
It was 11pm I climbed into bed after watching pretty little liars.

I drifted to sleep after 30 minutes.

Knock knock
He was here.

I looked to see it was only 1am
" come in " I called
Slash stepped in his eyes red and he had blood on his shirt.

I gasped , I quickly got up and led him to the bathroom.
I got the first aid kid .
" what happened to you " I asked carefully

" rival gang " he said coldly
I shivered at his tone.

" lift up your shirt " I said

He took it off with no signs of pain.
I saw a large knife cut on his chest .

" was anyone else hurt " I asked

" No only me they target me " he replied

I nodded and then got some wipes and carefully wiped his cut . I heard him hiss but I carried on. When I had finished I bandaged him up and I gave him a lollipop stored in the first aid kit.

He took it and I swear I saw him smile but too good to be true.
I decided not to ask him about why he couldn't sleep.

I took him too my bed and lay him down I climbed in next to him and again I was pulled close this time I was facing him.

" goodnight " I said

" people like me don't have goodnights" he replied

With that he fell asleep and I fell asleep knowing I had only 8 days left.
