Chapter 40

One month later....

August POV

I laid my head on Mahaganys stomach while squeezing her hand. She's been in a coma for the last month. I cry and pray daily hoping she'll wake up, the kids miss her so much, the entire world does. When the situation happen I was shot in my chest by her ex. He missed my entire heart but I did black out. He took her to an abandoned building and tried to rape her from the evidence. It wasn't successful, because someone heard her screams and called the police, and they got there in time. I was so thankful. Sadly when she went into the coma and they ran test they found out she was pregnant. My heart broke, because being in a non responsive state she couldn't carry our child. So they had to remove it. After that stomped on my heart the doctors said Mahagany's in shock because of the things that happened to her, he bet her up pretty bad, So they said she'll wake up eventually, maybe a few days, maybe a few months, and the worst is years. If she stays like this too long our family has to make the decision to pull the plug, and that is not a decision I'm ready to make.
