This story contain sensitive topics like child abuse and domestic violence though none of which involves the main Characters. You have being forewarned.
In order to avoid confusion, their ages will be mentioned at the beginning of Chapters written about the past. In the present day, Hijab is 23 years and Zulqarnain being 5 years older is 28.
The setting of the story is an fictional town in Central North of Nigeria, Africa.
Finally, any mistakes or inappropriate quotations and errors are on my part.
