"Hey princess," Rob told me with wide eyes as I opened my apartment door for him. I was wearing a short white dress with sparkly heels, and my hair was done in loose curls.

I smiled, "Well thank you, my handsome prince." He was wearing an actual suit - a nice change of pace from the football shirts I usually saw him in. I held out my hand, "Shall we?"

"We shall," he smiled, taking my hand and leading me to his truck, "Your chariot is here, my lady."

I looked at him, "It's magnificent."

After a while, we pulled up to the restaurant, which had previously been kept a secret by Rob. "Twin Oaks?" I gasped. I had been going to Twin Oaks for as long as I could remember.

He smiled at me, "I might've done a little Facebook stalking, but I thought this was the perfect place for an anniversary dinner."

I grinned up at him, "Thank you." Then, we headed inside to be seated.

I looked up from my chicken parm to meet Rob's eyes, "This is the best dinner I've had in a while."

"I'm glad you're enjoying it," he laughed.

"So, how are practices going?" I asked, looking back down to cut another piece of chicken. We'd both been so busy lately, we hadn't had much time to really catch up.

His eyes immediately lit up. The man loved football like nothing else. "It's great! Coach is pushing us hard, but it's paying off."

"Congrats on 9 and 2, by the way!" I commented on the Patriots' winning record.

He grinned, "Best record in the league. How about cheer - how's the captain doing?"

"Monica hasn't caused any more problems, if that's what you're getting at. But other than that, we're doing great. Love my job. Can't wait to cheer at the Super Bowl."

Rob smiled again, "Well, don't get too excited."

I raised an eyebrow, and he leaned in closer, "What's your ring size? We want the championship rings in as soon as possible."

We both laughed, and continued with our dinner.

"Well, thank you for an amazing anniversary dinner," I told Rob as we walked out of the restaurant, me holding onto his arm.

"Thank you for an amazing 3 months."

A huge smile stretched across my face, and I stood on my tiptoes, landing a small kiss on his cheek (no small feat, as he was still a solid 8 inches taller than me, even in my heels).
