The next morning, Ryan was awakened by a phone call from their oncologist. They had an appointment that afternoon to see if the actrazyl, a medicine that was doing wonders for people with blood cancers, was working as it should. They had been on this wonder pill for a year and a half so they hoped with all their heart, that it was working. The hours leading up to the appointment seemed like an eternity to Ryan. Probably because of how nervous and anxious they were. Finally four p.m came around, and they hurriedly headed out the door, making their way towards the hospital.
