Cass POV
Ash and Ella playing in the snow for a couple more hours while us "adults" talk.
"Cass I have a good idea lets take the kids to go see Santa and some Christmas lights" Matt says
"OMG that's a good idea" I say while getting excited
"Oh and I know a good place for lights" Hayes says
"Where" I say
"That park right by the mall it'll be really convenient because Santa's at the mall" Hayes says
"Smart Hayes" I say
"Ash, Ella time to stop playing we are going to see Santa and some lights" I say
"SANTA" they both yell and they come running to us
We took off all their snow stuff and let them dry by the heater we hung out for little while longer
"Ash, Ella time go" I yell upstairs to Ash's room they come running down and we go to our separate cars
"Mommy I wanna watch a princess movie" Ash says as I'm strapping her in her car seat
I run back inside get the iPad put on the princess movie and I got in the passenger side and we both leave
At the mall
Ash was really excited to see Santa same with Ella we go to where Santa was and wait in line
2 hours later
The line was so long Ash and Ella got tired of waiting but we told them we had to if they wanted to see Santa
We were up next to see Santa. Ash and Ella both run up and sit on his lap
"I want a pony and a dog like I want a dog so bad but mommy and daddy won't let me but I know you will Santa"
"Ho ho ho me and your parents have to agree" the guy says in a really good Santa voice
"But Santa" Ash says
"I'll try my best to get you a dog"
Ash smiles really big
"I want a kitty" Ella says
"I'll try my best to get you that too"
"Oh and I want some new barbies" Ella says
"Oh me too" Ash says getting excited
They talk for a little bit longer to Santa then they take a pic and we leave
"So you want a puppy" I say while grabbing Ash's hand
"Yeah"
Me and Hayes look at each other and chuckle a bit.
"What about uncle Cameron's dog jaxx, isn't he your dog too ?" I say softly
She nods "yeah, I miss uncle cam cam". Ash says as we get into the car.
I sigh to myself and say "me too, he'll be back home for Christmas sweet pea".
She smiles and makes silly faces Into the mirror.
Hayes clears his throat and says "I think a puppy is a great idea".
I glare at him and whisper "Hayes, the baby".
"What about the baby ?" He ask
"A dog, really what if it hurts ash or the baby" I say
Hayes shakes his head "Cassidy your over thinking it all"
I knew he was being serious because he used my real name.
"Whatever" I say slightly disappointed knowing that he won that fight
