Its been 2 weeks since we've talked, its 3 more days till we are 3 months. I'm not finna go to him first, i refuse. I really like him but i don't feel like talking to him right now. But I'm kinda lonely with out him i miss him. We've been together for one month almost two.
To keep my mind him i go to the trap. I went to the mall and i saw Markus and he saw me but i walked away. I cant talk to him now I'll do it when i can.
I was on a job, i was beating up some female who stole from me for her boss and thought she was gon get away with it.
My phone rang in my pocket. I silenced it and went back to her.
"Who is your boss? " i said punching her breaking her nose
She screamed in pain tears coming down her face.
"Re'meno" she cried
Why is she working for him? She looks so young and innocent and she is doing stuff like this for him i would never send someone like her to go steal drugs for me.
"How old are you? " i asked
"16" she said
My heart broke for her. I was gonna kill her and she's gonna lose her life so early.
"Why are you doing this you had your whole life ahead of you" i said
"I'm on the streets i have no one so this is the only way i can get my money to get off of the streets" she said
She is just like me, but i don't spare no ones life.
"You should have never stole from me but i will make your death easier for you." i said
"Plea-"
Before she could finish i shot her in the head.
I cleaned up the mess and made sure everything i did was untraceable.
I pulled out my phone and checked the miscall. It was the hospital.
Why would the hospital be calling me?
I called back
"Hello this is St. Paul hospital how can i help you" a lady said
"Hello i got a call from the hospital" i said
"Oh yes are you the Girl friend of Ja'Markus Green? " i asked
"Yes what happened" i said getting worried
"He was shot 3 times in his car under a red light. Your number was on his screen when we got him so we called you" she said
"I'm on my way" i said as my voice cracked
I hung up my phone and ran to my car and sped to the hospital.
I parked my car and ran to the entrance.
"I'm here for Ja'Markus Green."
"He's in room 334" she said
I ran to the elevator and pressed the 3
When it finally opened i got out and rushed to his room.
I opened the door and looked at him with sorrow.
He had bandages on the parts of his body and looked in real bad shape
"Markus?" i said on the verge of tears
He didn't answer
"Markus can you here me?" i asked
He never answered
A tear came down my face
I really cant believe this
I sat in a chair close to his bed and cried silently.
Then the door opened i wiped my face and looked up to see it was a doctor.
"Hello you must be Mr. Green's pretty girl friend everyone's talking about" the lady said
I smiled a faint smile
"Well as you know he was shot three times one on the shoulder, thigh, and his side, we already took the bullets out. He is lucky they did not go that deep in his body, because if he did he would have died. But he is going to be fine he is sleeping now, he has to stay here a while till he is in good condition." she said
"Okay" i said nodding my head
"Feel better" she said then walked out
I held his hand into mine and looked at him.
"I should have talked to you sooner." i said to myself.
his hand moved a little and his eyes fluttered open.
I smiled
He looked at me and he frowned
i cocked my head back a little
"What are you doing here" he said in a dry cracked voice
"They called me and told me you were here" i said giving him some water
"Why?" he asked
"Because you where going to call my number before you were shot." i said "you know who did this to you?"
"Why so you can go kill them?" he retorted
"No nigga i just wanna know who did this to you" i said getting annoyed with him i really dont wanna be rude to him while he in this hospital bed.
"Well i don't know" he said
"Your lying, why cant u just tell me?" i asked
"i'm not lying i stopped under a red light and i though of you i pulled my phone out and went to your contact and before i could call i blacked out" he said
"Oh well im sorry that this happened to you" i said
"Its not your fault" he said
"And i should have talked to you sooner,you could have died today and i wouldn't have told you that i was sorry leaving me angry and frustrated and sad all at the same time. I don't know, i missed you and all but i guess i was still mad that's why i ignored you whenever i seen you." i said
"When your mad you should tell me that your mad so we can work it out" he said
"I know and i'm sorry i just have a real bad temper" i said
"I'm sorry too i should have never said what i said and i shouldn't have told you to stop doing what you love, but u should just try to understand that i really like you and i don't want anything to happen to you doing what you do cuz if you do i will be devastated." he said
i nodded
"i understand" i said
"okay i don't want to be mad or argue with you over things we can fix just like that" he said snapping his fingers
"Me either"
"Good now come here" i said i went closer to him and he kissed me
When we pulled back i smiled as he let go of my bottom lip.
"And just so you know when i find those people i will kill them" i smiled like what i said wasn't wrong to him
he mugged me
"No your not"
"Whose gonna stop me?" i asked
"Me"
"Not while you looking crippled in this hospital bed you're not" i said trying not to laugh at his face
"That's not funny" he said
I just kept laughing
