"...That's fucked up" Chris said looking at a text he just received from his boyfriend and telling his friends about it. "You don't do that. The kid must be out of his mind or something"

"He's probably just looking for attention."

"Dan?" Alan said while Chris talked.

"DAN!" Everybody stopped talking and Dan came back to reality.

"Sorry. Sorry. What?"

"Did you hear what Chris just said?" Gustav asked to his friend that looked a little disoriented.

"No" Dan answered simply looking at his feet as they walked to the little food court to get lunch before their next class. "What happened?"

"The police is took a kid during PJ's last class." Dan have him a look asking for the reason and Chris continued. "He was acting weird. And the teacher came in asking what was everyone doing for their final project, do you know what he said?"

"No..."

"For my project I'm going to kill myself on camera." Chris said quoting what PJ had quoted from his classmate.

"Wow. Uh... Who is he?"

"Anyone knows him, but apparently this kid is one of the best students..." Chris looked through his last text messages and then answered. "Philip Lester."

Dan had never heard that name before. He felt sorry for him, he must be having a really hard time.

They started talking about something else... but Dan kept that name on his mind. Philip Lester.

How could his friends move on so fast? The kid was most likely suffering and depressed and they just cared about it because it became a campus gossip.

Dan bought lunch on his favorite restaurant and sat down next to his friends, who noticed he was quiet during lunch but they shrugged it off because he had been like that all day.

It was going to be a long day for him. He hated mondays –who doesn't– but it was extra awful because he had to work.

Dan worked doing the deliveries of a local pharmacy. He didn't have the best salary but with what he got every month he paid some small bills. That was the deal he had made with his parents when he started university.

He started here three semesters ago and so far he was doing pretty good. He liked his classes and his journalism career.

Dan suddenly realized that he had no food left so he decided it was time to join his friends' conversation.

This is so short. Sorry.
