It wasn't the "nothing" that the media made it out to be. Everyone knew it wasn't. We all believed it was some sort of proof of life on other planets. But they all shunned us. Told us that we should get out of our 'fantasy world'.
But it couldn't have been just a missile launch...could it?
What kind of missile would be able to produce a visual like that?
Until today, I was only a skeptic. There never was any validation that any of the things I believed in was actually fact.
But now, with everything that was in front of me-with all these flying cars, the landscape and sky that I still couldn't believe wasn't photoshopped, and technology that was only possible in films and texts back on Earth-I knew that I was right all along.
We aren't alone in the universe. We never were.
