God dammit Calum

She was right there, right in front of you. In your fucking room, and you let her go, again.

"I'm such an idiot." I groaned quietly to myself.

I was currently walking home and my mind was going completely insane.

Okay, nothing happened. Nothing happened last night. I didn't go to that party. I didn't drink. I didn't wake up on Calum's bed.

Nothing happened.

But he looked so hot though ugh. No, Sky. No. You can't go back to that.. You can't go through all of that again.

I walked towards the front door of my house and walked inside. I was about to close the door but I jumped once I heard someone speak. "Sky? Where have you been?"

"Oh my god, you scared me!" I held my chest. "I was just at a friends." I cleared my throat as I looked at her. Aka, my mom.

"A friends? Why do you look like that? Why is your hair all over the place? Were you at a boy's house? Skylar!"

Let's just say my mom's either my best friend or satan. There's no in between.

"Mom I was just at a friends and I just woke up!"

"It's already past 3, go take a shower. You need to get ready for the neighborhood cookout tonight."

I groaned to myself. That's tonight? "Fine." I walked upstairs to my bedroom.

An hour flew by and I took a shower, did some light makeup, and did my hair. I let my hair fall naturally straight past my shoulders.

My mom wanted me to dress up by wearing a dress or a skirt but naahhh. I wore blue skinny jeans with a few holes in them, a plain white tshirt, and some converses.

The cook out starts around 5 so my mom and I were about to leave. We were walking to the Peterson's house for the cook out and they only lived a few houses away.

"So how are you and Ryan?" I furrowed my brows as I looked at my mom after she asked that. Did she just say Ryan? She's never liked him though?

"We're good" What? I didn't know what else to say.

"I always liked Calum better than Ryan, yanno?" I sighed as I looked away. Why is she bringing up Calum.

"Why?"

"He made you happy."

"Ryan makes me happy."

"Not like Calum did." ..Yeah.. He did didn't he..

Flashback
"What's this?" I starred down at the wrapped gift in my hand as I looked up at Cal.
"Open it." He smiled as he watched my every move. I slowly opened the box and once I saw what it was, my heart completely stopped.
I looked at the little diamond ring in the box and back up at Cal. "Cal.. I -um I don't know what to say.."
"It's a promise ring, Sky. I promise that i'll love you forever and I promise to never leave your side. I love you.. so so much"
"Oh my god.." I whispered to myself as I hugged him. "It's beautiful, I love it." I love this boy so much..
"Happy one year babygirl" He whispered as he hugged me tightly.
Flashback over

"Calum lied to me, mom.." After that flashback.. I don't think I'll be able to handle myself tonight..

"He said he'll never leave me, but he did."
