Ryan "Well it's 8:30 & I haven't eaten dinner yet, would you care to join me?"
I said "I'd love to. Let me go next door to change."
Ryan "No need. I'm just ordering room service."
I said "Oh. Well want to watch a movie to then?"
Ryan "Sure lets see what's on."
I scan through the lists & find a good one. I press play on the film "The langoliers" as we wait for the food to arrive. Ryan sat there next to me watching the Stephen king movie and paused it when the room service cart came. We ate our steak & sushi after resuming the film. He noticed my face buried in my hands as the plane was going down the runway as the earth below was being eaten by the little time munching monsters.
Ryan "Why pick a movie that scares you?"
I said "That's really the only part that does."
After finishing the movie and our food I kissed his cheek & went next door to my own room. I thought about him all night as I slept. In the morning I woke up showered & put on something cute. I had a pair of jeans a fitted t shirt he had sent me from Smith & the same red hoodie he has. I walked down the hall to knock on his door & he opened it.
Ryan "You look beautiful" as he kissed my cheek leaving his room. He linked arms with me heading downstairs. In the elevator I saw a cute baby & her mom.
Ryan "Kirsten this is the girl I told you about. I met her in Costa Rica."
Kirsten "Oh right Nikki was it?"
I said "Yes. I've been a fan of yours forever. I don't know if it was the Disney stuff first or the stint on Days."
Kirsten "So you remember Zenon." I said "Both & also clubhouse on ABC that didn't last long."
Kirsten "Wow you really are a fan."
I said "Thanks. Harper is adorable by the way. I can always tell in photos that she loves uncle Ryan."
Ryan "That girl does love me. I love her."
Hearing those statements made me melt. I was already falling for the guy but it just made me fall harder.
Once we made it downstairs to the meet & greet I was able to talk to Will first. I said hello & Will "So you're Ryan's new friend? Or should I call you something else with the way you look at each other."
I said "We are in between I think. You'd have to ask Ryan."
Ryan "What does he have to ask me?"
Will "Whether you are friends or more."
Ryan "I'd say more. Since we are having a date later."
I said "Oh really? Someone forgot to mention this to me."
Ryan "I was hoping since you're from here you could show me around."
I said "Sure. To get a good feel I'd say lets use the bus & El train."
Ryan "Well why don't you go meet Tyler & Finola?"
I said "Yes I'd love to."
I told Finola "You are an amazing actress & I love your accent."
Finola "Thank you. You must be the girl Ryan talks about everyday."
I said "He seriously talks about me everyday?"
Finola "Yes to anyone who will listen including Frank & Ron."
I said looking at Ryan "Wow I didn't realize he liked me that much."
Tyler "Oh yes I would say he does."
I said "Hi Tyler, I've seen three movies you've been in. Beyond the lights, US Seals & Face The Music."
Tyler "What was the first thing you saw Ryan in?"
I said "The Christina Aguilera video a few months prior to him stepping onto General Hospital."
Ryan "That was the first thing?"
I said "Well possibly a commercial but I don't remember for sure. I do watch a lot of commercials that are only online & not on TV. It's the first thing I know for sure anyway."
Ryan "That's cool. Did you recognize my face not knowing my name?"
I said "Yes. I later looked at the video knowing your name & said "Oh so that's who guy #2 was."
Ryan "Why don't you talk to them more I have to deal with security."
I talked to Kirsten again & we talked about clothes, babies & love.
Kirsten "I can tell like the other three you are falling & falling hard for my friend."
I said "It's that obvious?"
Kirsten "A blind man could see you're falling hard for Ryan."
I said "Well aside from being gorgeous, he is a total dork & sweet so it's not like I can help it."
Kirsten "So you love dorks too huh?"
I said "Of course I do. I always thought I wanted a guy with a tattoo but Ryan doesn't need any."
Kirsten "They're not all they're cracked up to be."
I said "Yeah you have a few don't you."
Kirsten "Yes. So what are you gonna show him later?"
I said "Well I could show him the hospital I was born in, the apartment building I lived in, and the other places in the city that I remember from my past. Also I want to see if we can go up the sears tower. I'm not sure of their hours they open the observation deck."
Kirsten "Isn't it called Willis tower?"
I said "Anyone from Chicago or Illinois refuses to call it anything but the Sears tower."
Security tried to pull me away from Ryan later but he said "She's my special guest."
Security "Any fans are supposed to be a certain distance away during the show."
Ryan (whispering) "Don't worry, it won't be for long."
After everyone got their photo ops & autographs they did their show & later Ryan got me. A security followed him around & made sure he was safe. Ryan asked "Can you give us a little space please?"
Security "I'm only able to give up to ten feet."
I said "Even if we're on a date?"
Security "I'm sorry miss."
Ryan tried to out maneuver this guy but he wouldn't give us space. I ran for the subway & had Ryan follow closely behind. We finally split ourselves from the nosy security man. Ryan put his arm around me on the train & pulled me onto his lap. I looked into his eyes almost forgetting to get out at the right stop.
We started near the apartment I first lived in & I walked around with him. Ryan "I doubt it looked this nice in the 80's."
I said "No it didn't."
Ryan "What do you want to show me next?"
