- Chapter 1 -

Naruto's pov:

“SHIT SHIT SHIT!” I shouted as I ran around the corner towards my school, I can’t be late again Kakashi sensei is gonna be so angry. I just started going to this school two weeks ago and this would probably be the hundredth time I have been late, if that is even possible. Last time Kakashi reported to Tsunade that I had been late again and she said if I was late again that I would have to do a special detention with her. I swore to never be late after hearing Tsunade say that, she could be a very scary woman sometimes.

I wiped my blond hair out of my face I ran so fast and was stupid enough to not look in front of me and I didn’t see what or even who was up ahead. “AHHH!” I yelled before I fell back on my ass, “SORRY ARE YOU...” I said “Idiot!” the person I bumped into said. I looked up to see my rival’s face in front of me “Sasuke!, what are you doing here!?” I asked and attempted to get up. 

I met him, I mean Sasuke on the first day of school. We had been made to work together as a pair. He called me idiot several times after I got questions wrong. I seriously don’t know what his problem is, but what really pisses me off is that he acts like a loner when everyone loves him and are always on his side. Now he is my rival, I want everyone to be on my side I want to be popular and most of all I want to make friends. All of these Sasuke has and he doesn’t even appreciate any of it. 

Sasuke’s dark eyes stared at me he had an angry expression on his face. Wow usually this guy had no emotion at all. “Idiot!” he whispered angrily and walked in the opposite direction of where our school was. “Sasuke where are you going!?” I yelled but he didn’t answer just kept on walking. I shouldn’t even try talking to him. Anyway I better get to school before Tsunade goes on a rampage looking for me. I started running again making sure I was looking where I was going this time. "GRRRRR....."  Oh shit I had forgotten to eat this morning I wont be able to concentrate on an empty stomach but I have to get to school in time. “Ahhhh I’l just go to school, I will be able to last till lunch I think!” I said out loud. 

Ahhh! I should of eaten dam I can’t hear anything Kakashi is saying. All I hear is my stomach yell at me for not eating. I looked up at the door Sasuke walks in and walks over to Kakashi. What’s he doing here so late and where did he go this morning he looked angry and walked away from the school. Any way I shouldn’t be worrying over that idiot. 

Sasuke walked up to the table next to mine dam that Kakashi thought it was a good idea to make us sit next to each other.

‘Grrrrrr’ “I need food!” I said to my self, Sasuke turned to look at me he said with a smirk on his face “What is wrong with you dobe?” Sasuke whispered so that only I would hear. “WHATTT!!! ME AN IDIOT DONT YOU MEAN SASUKE THE IDIOT!!!” I yelled, Kakashi looked at me and stopped writing on the board “Causing trouble again I see, UZUMAKI NARUTO!! kakashi yelled as he threw a piece of chalk at me “Oh shit!” I said and dogged it just in time I couldn’t see because Kakashi wore scarves covering his face but i knew that Kakashi had a frown on his face. “Naruto wait out side I will talk to you later!” he said in a calmer voice this time. The whole class laughed at me as I walked out of the room. That idiot duck-but haired Sasuke had started all of this and I could see was the smirk on his face. I closed the door behind me I wasn’t going to wait around for Kakashi instead I ran, ran away back home I opened my apartment door and walked to my room where I sat on my bed. I picked up my orange guitar and strummed a few strings “I bet they wont be laughing at me when I’m the best guitar player in the whole world!” I yelled and put my guitar down. I lay on my bed until I fell asleep.
