Back To Hogwarts

"You are an amazing person Elliot." I smiled. I grabbed his hand and lead him back into the compartment. "Hey you two, we're baaack!"

"What did you get me?" Teddy and Madeline asked. I threw Madeline the chocolate frog and Teddy the cauldron cake. They both opened their sweets and dug in. Teddy started talking to Elliot and they were conversing about quidditch.

From my right, Madeline let out a groan. "Uggh!"

"What?" I asked her. She looked at me and held up her card she received from the Chocolate Frog.

"I got Aunt Hermione again! I have life forty of her!" She laughed as she looked over the card. Elliot looked over at us with curiosity.

"Hermione Granger is your aunt?" He asked.

"Yea, she's married to my dad's brother." Madeline replied. I nodded in agreement. He smiled and continued to talk to Teddy.

We arrived at Hogwarts before long and Teddy parted with Madeline, Elliot and me to the boats while we shared a carriage to the castle. In the Great Hall, Elliot left to attend to the Slytherin Table and me and Madeline sat at the Gryffindor table. Pierre Jordan, Mylor Derleth, Emmeline May and Alice Partridge were all around us, happy to see each other again. Before the feast started, the Headmistress had a few words to say.

"We have one change in staff this year. Our new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher will be taken up by Professor Malfoy." Whispers filled the Great Hall but were silenced when McGonagall raised her hand. "And with that let the Sorting begin." The Sorting was quite boring, but Gryffindor cheered happily when Teddy got sorted into our house.

At the end of the feast, Madeline went back to the Common Room with Teddy and I sought out Elliot so he can accompany me to find the headmaster. I found Elliot waiting for me at the entrance of the Great Hall and we walked together, searching for McGonagall. We found her in the Third Floor Corridor. "Arabella, Elliot, shouldn't you be in bed?"

"Um yes, but I have a package from Uncle Harry he asked me to deliver to you." I said, taking the parcel out of my messenger bag and handed it to her. She unwrapped part of it and she smiled at the sight. "Oh thank you dear!" She waved her wand and two pieces of parchment with writing appeared. "Take these passes so you two won't get in trouble on your way back. Goodnight!" And with that she left.

"Umm, I'll walk you to your dorm." Elliot said while scratching the back of his head. I smiled at him kindly.

"So what do you think about the new teacher?" I asked Elliot. His face immediately turned pink.

"Well I think I'll like him. Considering he is my father." He smiled. My mouth nearly fell to the floor. I quickly recomposed myself and continued to walk.

"Elliot Malfoy. That's who you are!" I smiled. "Why didn't you tell me on the train?"

"You never asked." He smirked. We both laughed as we ascended another staircase. "No, because whenever someone hears the surname Malfoy, they immediately think I'm evil! Just because of who my father was."

"Well if its any consolation, I won't judge you on who your father was. You are a completely different person afterall!" He laughed again and grinned.

"Wait, what's your last name?" Elliot asked.

"Weasley." I replied while pushing a piece of my ginger hair behind my ears. He smiled at me as we approached the Fat Lady's Portrait. "Well this is my stop. Thanks for walking me." He grinned even more before giving me a hug.

"See you tomorrow! We have potions with Gryffindors first period!" He smiled before walking off. After reciting the password I said hi to a few students in the common room before heading up to the dorms, where Maddie nearly killed me.

"WHERE WERE YOU!" She hissed as she jumped on my bed.

"I was with Elliot." I replied simply. Emmeline and Alice immediately joined in on the conversation.

"Whose that, your boyfriend?" Alice inquired. I felt my face flush and a smile twitched at my lips. But I shook my head.

"He's not my boyfriend. He's just my friend. Now if you three don't mind, I will be off to bed seeing as we have class in the morning!" I snapped while ducking under the covers.

"Ugh for the millionth time you guys, Elliot and I are just friends! We just met yesterday and I'm not allowed to date until I'm fifteen. I'm only twelve guys, like come on!" I snapped at my friends as we entered the potions classroom. Elliot was sitting alone at a table and I made my way over to him. "You're going to be my partner this year." I stated. He smiled and that's when potions started.

After potions, we had Herbology with the Hufflepuffs and Charms with the Ravenclaws. We had Defence Agaisnt the Dark Arts with the Slytherins again.

After the day was done I headed to the owlrey to find a letter from dad.
