I Need to Tell You Something...

Part 10

Cabin fever. That sums up how you felt after being trapped in the Avengers Tower for a week. You weren't allowed to leave, and everyone had been informed as such. I mean, you had tried to escape, but you had been caught and taken back inside.

"But, Steve!!!!" You whined as he carried you over his shoulder back onto the floor with the "living room" and kitchen.

"No buts, (y/n)! You heard what Fury said! Under no circumstances are you allowed to leave the tower! Do you want Hydra to capture you? It will be like World War II all over again for you, except for the fact that this time, they will actually try to use you as a weapon! Do you want to be a weapon against Bucky?" He said sternly.

You crossed your arms and pouted. He put you down on a couch next to Clint. "Watch her, Clint-Like a hawk." You both glared at Steve as he erupted in laughter. He then cleared his throat and walked away.

"So, you tried to escape again?" Asked Clint, turning back to the TV.

"I wouldn't call it escaping exactly..."

"I heard you tried crawling through the air conditioning vents." He said staring at you.

"Um, I lost something up there."

"Likely story." Tony then walked in with Bruce (Thor had gone back to Asgard to check on the state of the realms). Tensions between Tony and Clint were still high.

"So, Barnes, how did you manage to outsmart Jarvis?" Said Tony sitting down on one of the other couches. Bruce walked over to the fridge and pulled out a bottle of orange juice.

"That is behind me now, Stark." You say standing up, walking over to the elevator.

"Wait!" Said Bruce. "You aren't allowed to go anywhere without an escort." He said walking over to the elevator with you.

"Yes, daddy." You say pressing the button in the elevator to take you to your and Natasha's floor of the tower. Bruce pressed the button for the floor with the lab on it. The doors to the elevator closed.

"So, not to echo Tony, but how did you outsmart Jarvis?" You sigh.

"Last night I found the main control panel, and I turned off Jarvis' audio functions. Someone may want to un-mute him..." Bruce laughed.

"I'll turn it back on. I see that you are starting to understand technology."

"Yeah. I guess so." The doors to the elevator opened, and you walked out.

"(Y/N), I hope you understand that we are doing everything we can to get your son and husband back for you." You nod your head.

"Thanks, Bruce, but it's still hard, you know?" He nodded his head as the doors to the elevator closed.

You headed to your room and heard a noise coming from Natasha's room. She opened the door and peeked her head out of the door.

"Oh, (Y/N), it's you. I was hoping it was you." She grabbed your arm and pulled you into the room.

"What did you want me for?" She turned around.

"Do you want to get out of here?"

"Yeah, more than anything, but.." She cut you off.

"Then listen very carefully."
