Chapter 13: Not So Home

Pearl: "That whiplash."

Max walks up the big doors. "This place is freaking huge!"

Mike walks next to Max. "Where are we!"

Pearl: "I call this place home but you can call it that too. Heh come on."

Pearl walks up pushing the door open as everyone follows inside behind her.

Pearl closing the door behind them. "Rose! You home?"

Lucas: "Who's Rose?"

Pearl: "Sister. Guess she's not home."

Mike: "Why do you live in a castle by the way?"

Pearl: "Well my full name is Pearl Phantasma princess of the storm kingdom."

Max: "Holy shit your a real life princess."

Pearl: There isn't much of a kingdom left but yeah.

Lucas: "Wow."

Max: "Hey is there a bathroom around here?"

Pearl points towards a staircase. "Head up those stairs and first room on the left should have a bathroom in there."

Max heads up the stair. "Thanks!"

Max enters the room seeing the huge room with king sized bed. "This'll be the best sleep I ever get." 

Girl with her towel wrapped around her walks out from bathroom in the room.

Max: "You!"

Girl: "You!"

Girl rushes to Max pushing him to the ground, ending up on top of him with a dagger to his throat. "Who are you! And how did you find this place!"

Max looks to the side blushing. "Well uh could you do something about that."

Girl looks down seeing her towel off her body. "oh my god!"

Girl jumps off of Max and picks up her towel covering herself.

Pearl walks into the room. "Max I thought I hea- Oh my god Rose put some clothes on!"

Max: "You know her!"

Rose: "You know him!"

Pearl: "That's my sister Rose."

Max gets off the ground. "She tried to kill me."

Pearl: "Wait Rose that was you oh my god."

Rose: I'm a hunter I don't expect you to understand.

Max: "Well I'm not a demon so, why did you try killing me?"

Rose laughs. "I wasn't trying to kill you, I was trying to kill that person you were with. What was her name again. Oh that's right Blair."

Max: "Blair?"

Rose: "Yeah. Wait you don't know she's a demon?"

Max: "She's what. Wow."

Rose: "Uh yeah, you can get out now."

Max leaves and heads downstairs.

Pearl: "Really Rose."

Rose shrugs her shoulders. "Hey I didn't know they were your friends."

Max finds Blair.

Blair holds up a compass. "Max I found this small locator."

Max: "Um right, uh Blair did you leave out anything about yourself that I should know?"

Blair puts down the compass. "Yes I'd expect you'd dislike me if I told you."

Max: "I'd appreciate some honesty you know."

Blair: "I'm a demon."

Max: "That's it?"

Blair: "Also my home has been destroyed by humans so their all evil."

Max: "Wait so where are you from? And how old are you?"

Blair laughs. "No I would be about the same age as- Blah! That's not the point. I hate humans that's how I was taught, then I met you and everyone else and I started feeling funny and didn't quite understand it all but It was so weird actually experiencing human interaction."

Pearl walks into the room. "Well Blair you do know what you exactly are right? Your a succubus. Basically like a magic witch cat with the closest thing to magic."

Max: "So you knew?"

Pearl: "No I just have a knowledge on a lot of ancient things."

Lucas walks into the room. "What are you guys talking about?"

Mike walks over with Rose.

Pearl: "Why are you walking with her?"

Mike: "Your sister is awesome, I might become a monster hunter."

Max: "Did any of you know Blair is a demon?"

Mike Pretends to sleep standing up.

Lucas nervously laughs. "Heh uh well I..I..I."

Lucas looks down seeing a hand going through his chest.

Everyone stands up and looks at Lucas.

Room grows dim as storm clouds cluster outside and thunder booms.

Rose: "What is this!"

Max looks up seeing a tall disfigured creature thrusting it's hand through Lucas's chest. "No!"

Creature forcing it's other hand through Lucas lifting him u and ripping his body in two.

Max and the others are stuck in shock after a unknown creature appears before them and kills Lucas.
