No one knows how the Crazies came into existence, but they know that one day, Crazies emerged from their houses and started turning the world insane. In response, the whole world gathered together and rose against the Crazies. Then suddenly the Crazies disappeared. Nowhere to be seen. People still believe the Crazies are still there.
And they are.
They live in an alternate universe, easily accessed through a special entrance in every state that every Crazy knows about. The Crazies have built cities and done everything the normal people do... except they are crazy. And their ideas are based around crazy things.
