Chapter 1: A Bad Idea & A Few Memories

Start from the beginning

{Diggy POV}

As I walked with Mona to the lunch line, I couldn't help but wonder what her and Aria were really talking about. "So who likes who again?" I asked her grabbing a powerade. "What do you mean?" She said playing dumb. "Whoever you and Aria were talking about. I know it sure wasn't Matthew." I said laughing. "Is someone.....jelly?" She said raising her eyebrows. "Nahh, I could just tell she was lying." I said waving it off. "Oh really? How so?" she replied. "I just know when she's lying. I can't explain." I said. "Oh ok." She laughed. "She was freaking out earlier though about going to the movies with this guys Jaden. You know him?" I asked taking a side of oranges for my tray. "Hmm?" She asked coughing a little too dramatic."Jaden...Jaden Smith I think is his name. Do you have any idea as to why Aria was acting so...odd when I mentioned him.

{Mona POV}

Diggy had just asked me about why Aria had acted so weird when he mentioned Jaden, and I didn't mean to, but I broke out into a nervous cough attack.  "No, I have no idea why she'd do that. Probably just her being weird ol' Aria." I said. "Nope, like I said earlier, I know when she's lying." He replied. He gave me one last look, as if I were acting a little strange too then paid for his tray. Since his lie dectecting skills were so great, I just hoped he didn't catch on to anything. That would be a digging up of the past I really didn't need, and neither did Aria.

Later On That Night

{Diggy POV}

I was headed over to Aria's house to pick her up for the movie like promised. When I got there I rang the bell and she anwsered. She looked...amazing. I gotta admit. She had on a pink crop top sweater with the words geek on it , and some shorts that showed off her great legs and curves, and her hair was flat ironed. "Like what you see?" She said raising her eyebrows with a smile. "Nah." I said teasing. She laughed and headed to my car. Aria was a pretty girl, I just don't think she's my type though.

{Aria POV}

When we got to the theater we waited for a bit and finally met up with Jaden, and a girl that he'd brought along with him. It wasn't the same girl from before. Once we met I introduced myself and she told me her name was Amaya.(pic on the side) ---> Hmm...I wonder what happened to Danielle. "Shall we go in?" Diggy said. We went in bought our tickets and watched the movie. When the movie was done, Diggy  went to find a water fountain, so I was stuck waiting with Jaden and Amaya. Yay. "Did you enjoy the movie?" Amaya asked me. "Yea, it was fine." I said with a polite smile. (I really didn't feel like talking to this chick) "What about you bae?" she asked Jaden. "Yea it was awesome." He said nodding his head. He pulled her in for a hug then kissed her. And I don't mean a peck on the lips. "You've got to be kidding me." I mumbled under my breath. I guess I didn't say it quiet enough, because Amaya looked directly at me when I said it.

"You know Aria, Jaden's a wonderful kisser." She said smiling. She was so fake and annoying. "Oh believe me I know." I said returning the fake smile. That's when her smile faded away and Jaden's expression went blank. "What's that supposed to mean?" Amaya said. "Huh? Oh I was just agreeing with you.

{Flashback Mode}

“So, what’d you want to talk about?” I asked. “Could it not be more obvious? Look, I want to apologize for what I said earlier. It was wrong. You have the right to be mad at me.” He said. I just couldn’t stop looking at his lips. Not goanna even front, they looked good. “Don’t. I’m the one that needs to apologize. I shouldn’t hold grudges. It’s wrong.” I said quietly. He went on and talked about how sorry he was and other things but I wasn’t listening. This boy was fine! For some reason I really, really wanted to kiss him.

“Jaden?” I said cutting him off. “Yea?” He asked. I never had the chance to reply. After a few seconds of us just staring at each other, he pulled me by my waist and kissed me. I knew everything I was doing was wrong, but I couldn’t stop. I had to admit, Jaden and I had chemistry, and that, was undeniable.

{Flashback Mode End}

"Helloooooo, anybody home?" Amaya said snapping her fingers in my face. I jolted back to my senses. "I'm sorry, what?" I asked. "I said, you needa watch those little sly remarks you're making. I'm going home J, my ride is here." She said leaving. Once she was out of earshot I was about to go find Diggy until Jaden grabbed my arm stopping me. "Really Aria?" He asked. "What?" I asked. "Those remarks you were making, I didn't approve of." He said. "Approve? Jaden I don't need your permission to say whatever it is I want." I said snatching my arm out of his grasp. "You're starting problems with me and Amaya and I don't appreciate it." He said. "Oh stop the act, you'll probably be with another girl by tommorrow morning." I said rolling my eyes. "Yea? Well lets just be glad that girl isn't you, and won't be you..ever." He said. I started walking away to find Diggy, and trying to keep the tears from coming. Those last few words he'd said, hurt. Once I'd found him it was too late, the tears were blurring my visions and slowly starting to come.

"Aria what's wrong?" Diggy asked. "Nothing, can we go?" I asked. "Aria. Tell me what happened. Now." He said. "I don't want to talk about it! Now are you gonna take me home, or am I walking?" I asked. "Aria-" "I told you this was a bad idea!" I yelled as I burst into tears. He pulled me in for a hug and held me close until I had calmed down. "Ok, I'll take you home." He said.
