4 months later

{Aria POV}

I was sitting at the back of my 3rd period class whispering madly with Diggy. "You did what?!" I asked. "I told you already. Jaden and I have been talking lately and he wanted to go to the movies. He invited some  chick and I wanted to invite you." He said sighing. "Why, out of all people, would you invite him?" I groaned. "Why are you freaking out so much? It's just the movies." He said confused. I still hadn't told him about the past relationship Jaden and I have had, even though this past months I've gotten to know him we've shared almost everything. "You know what, just forget I ever said anything." I said rolling my eyes and focusing back on the lesson. After class was over I was heading to my next class still mad about what Diggy had told me even though it wasn't his fault. "Hey! Ari, wait up!" He said catching up to me. "Why are you so mad?" He asked again. "It's not your fault, it's-nothing just forget about it. We're cool, I just won't go." I said forcing a smile.

Diggy pulled me aside and dragged me down a couple hallways. "We're late." I said as I heard the bell ring. He ignored it. There were no more kids in the hallway left to hurry to class. "Ari,what's been going on with you lately?" He asked his expression turning serious. "What are you talking about ?" I said trying to walk past him, but he blocked my way. "You've been acting strange." He said. "Can you please let me go to class?" I said ignoring his question. "Not until you give me an anwser." He said trapping me on the wall. I rolled my eyes at him. "Gosh you're stubborn."He said under his breath. "Excuse me?" I said. He let out a small laugh. and I couldn't help a smile escaping my lips. We were rarely like this. Arguing over things, or getting into disagreements just wasn't us, and when we did, we turned it into a joke."Look, just promise me you'll go." He said. "No, I just can't." I replied. I knew it would be too many memories and too much heartache.

Now the reason Diggy thought I had been acting weird lately actually had nothing to do with this. You see, these last couple of months I had come to learn that Diggy was a flirty type of guy. He was the kinda guy that could do things or say things that would have your heart racing, then shrug it off, and I know it's just his personality, but sometimes I wondered if I would have feelings for him. For example, take this situation that's happening right now.

"Ari, I would really appreciate this..." He said taking my hand in his. My heart immediately started racing, and my mind was going a million miles per hour. Why was I acting like this? He looked me directly in the eyes while still embracing my hand and that did it. "Ok, fine I'll go." I said turning away from him. "Uh, why did I always have to go to such extremes with you?" He said laughing. He finally moved out of my way and I started walking to my next class. "See you at lunch Aria." He said still laughing. When he was out of sight I sunk down to the floor by the nearest lockers. These were the little things I had been enduring for months now, and they were starting to add up. What if I was catching feelings for him?

At lunch, I tried to fill Mona in on all these things that were going on before Diggy met up with us. "Sounds like someone's got a crush." She teased. "I know..." I groaned helplessly. "Remind me again why is this so bad?" She said. "You're no help at all." I replied. "What?" She said laughing. "It's not a crush! I don't like him!" I yelled. "You don't like who?" I instantly recognized Diggy's voice. Just my luck. "Uhmm...Mona, was just...teasing me about Matthew in 1st period." I said lying. "Oh really?" He said laughing. "Yea, it's so annoying an untrue." I said looking at Mona. She playfully rolled her eyes."I'm going to get my lunch." Mona said. "I'll come with." Diggy said. They looked at me waiting for me to tag along. "Actually I'm going to have to skip ou-" "We know, you're on some weird liquid diet." Mona said interrupting me. "It really helps me burn off the weight." I said. "What weight?" Diggy asked. "Shutup, you need to be on one too. And you Mona." I said pointing at her. "Whatever." She said laughing and going to the lunch line.
