Hiccup's POV
I had grown up in this town. Always wanting to get out.
But always knowing it would never happen. So I accepted it and played along just like everyone else. I always dressed different from the other kids. I wore old rock band t-shirts and black jeans. I had rubber brackets going up my arm. They had bands on them like Panic! at the Disco,Green Day,My Chemical Romance, Guns and Roses,etc. Kids here always gave me weird looks that was until Astrid came along. When Astrid asked my out my whole world changed,people talked to me other than my best friend Jack. So when she broke up with me my whole world changed
"Hi Hic, we need to talk"
"Ok sure, what's up?"
"I think we should break up"
"What? Why?"
"Well I just really don't like you anymore, your are really weird and kinda a freak and I can't date a freak"
"I'm not a freak!"
"Um ya you are, do you see what you wear?"
"That doesn't make me a freak"
"Ya, it kinda does"
"You know what! Whatever I'm happy we're through!"
"WELL FINE!"
"FINE!"
But hiccup wasn't fine he knew without having Astrid around he would be a social outcast. At least he knew Jack would still like him.

After that happened I was back to being the social casualty I was before. Not talking much except for Jack and Elsa and mostly keeping to myself that was until a new girl joined my math class...
