The plane landed and you set foot on the ground. It had been a while since you had been in Miami but you did love the place. And you had to admit you were always happy to breath in fresh air. You rubbed your eyes after the flight. You had taken your private jet even though you weren't flying for your job.

You had 3 weeks in Miami. 3 weeks to figure out your feelings. 3 weeks to spend with Lauren. 3 weeks away from it all. You hadn't spoken to Lauren so you also didn't feel the need to tell her you arrived.

You took your suitcases and made your way to a taxi that was already waiting. You got into the black car and the driver took you to your hotel. Once you had checked in and gotten to your room, you fell on the hotel bed. The flight had worn you out more than you'd like to admit. People would assume a worldwide pop star that traveled all the time would be able to handle a flight from LA to Miami without being jet legged but nothing was less true.

You decided to sleep a little now and meet up with Lauren tomorrow. Your phone was laying on the nightstand when you got up and made your way to the bathroom to get rid of your make-up and get changed.

When you returned your phone was vibrating violently. The screen showed that Joanna was calling. You practically forget the girl existed. You ignored the call and later fell asleep peacefully.

The next thing you saw was sun light shining in your eyes. You got up and ready to go out. Plan 'surprise Lauren' was starting now.  A thin layer of make-up was put on your face and you put on a pair of jeans and a Lana Del Rey shirt. Partly to impress Lauren and partly because you loved Lana.

Soon enough you closed the door of your hotel room behind you and exited the building. A long walk later you rang Lauren's doorbell. When the door opened you were in complete awe. Lauren was wearing sweat pants and an over sized sweater. Nevertheless she looked better than ever.

Her eyes widened and it was the first time you noticed the amount of beauty hidden in them. "Hi." You greeted shyly.

"Hey." Her voice sounded raspier than usual. "Come in." She continued and moved out of the way so you could enter the house.

Her house was cosy and nice and very homey. You sat down on the sofa and Lauren sat down next to you. "I got your letter." You started, not wanting to make small talk first.

"Oh." Was all Lauren said and her eyes fell down to the floor. You opened your mouth to say something but Lauren continued. "I shouldn't have sent it. I didn't think you'd come all the way. You must be very busy and you don't time for this. By the way I heard and you Joanna are back together. I'm happy for you." The green eyed girl rambled.

"Laur, I loved it." You silenced her within a second. "It was very well written. And I was thinking about visiting anyway. Your letter just gave me the extra push." You explained to your friend.

The raven haired girl nodded and silence filled the room. "So how are you doing?" She asked after a long time, breaking the comfortable silence.

"I'm doing fine, how are you?" You replied.

"Okay." The Fifth Harmony member told you. "Do you want to drink something?" She wondered a second later.

"Yeah, water, please." Your mouth was dry. Lauren shot up and practically ran to the kitchen, not much later she placed a glass of water in front of you.

"There you go." She smiled at you sweetly and sat down again. "So..." Lauren trailed off.

"So." You repeated not really knowing what to say. You took a sip of your drink and tried to get rid of the lump in your throat.

You looked everywhere but the girl who was only a few inches away from you. You didn't think this was gonna be this awkward. "Have you been working on new music?" The green eyed girl broke the silence.

"Omg, yes. So I've been writing all the time lately and I've written a few pretty good ones. There's this one that I really love because it's very accurate at the moment and... if you want I can play it for you?" You started rambling but at the end you were unsure.

Lauren nodded excitedly and soon enough you were sitting with a guitar in your lap. You started strumming the first few chords and the first words were rolling off your tongue. The girl in front of you looked at you with big eyes and listened intently to every sound you made.

When you finished you looked up and Lauren started clapping. "Wow, that was amazing." She cheered you on and a smile formed on your lips. "You have to promise me to put that song on your next album." Lauren took your hand in hers.

Your lips darted to the skin contact. The other girl quickly noticed and pulled her hands back. "Sorry."

"Don't apologize." You spoke and intertwined your hands. "I promise to put it on my album." Lauren's cheeks flushed a soft shade of pink. You had never seen Lauren this shy but you kinda liked this side of her. Just like every other side of her.

Your phone vibrated in your pocket and you pulled it out. You read the words on your screen over and over again. Not only did you have trouble believing it but it also made you more and more confused.

We need to talk.

The message came from the one and only Camila Cabello.

A/N: I'm trying my best to make this decent but I don't have a lot of time cause I have my exams now and I really need to study. But I found some time in between study sessions to finish this and I'm not very happy about it but I don't have time to rewrite it. So it'll have to do.

Love you all!!
