Chapter 18 ~Andy~

Andy-

My mind was racing. Callie knows she knows what Ophy did to her. She knows that she got two extra years with artemis while we were just constructing our personalities she know's that Ophy's older she know's everything but how am I going to keep her on the right track. What if she chooses Ophy. NO! I need to focus on getting her back for right now. he said gabe's in the house with the smoke I remember smelling smoke in the house right next to the alley. What if he has guards. Then They'll die. I dropped the phone and broke into a full sprint out the door. I ran out of the fence and into the house next door. She wasn't kidding when she said smoke

"GEMINI!" I screamed then coughed. I ran through every room trying to find him I didn't bother closing the door.

"Aries!" I heard him yell just beyond a door. I tried to open it but it was locked. I wonder how combustable this smoke is. I grabbed my shotgun off my back

"Step away from the door" I aimed at the lock for a second and put a big hole in the door. I cursed under my breath. The smoke everywhere else you can kinda see through. In here it's like looking through muddy water.

"Gabe, do you have any idea where they have Cappy?" I couldn't see him but he was in the middle of a coughing fit o I just helped him out of the house and into the outside where there's plenty of fresh air. I heard a hiss like a snake. I turned around to see a huge snake the size of a fat dog hurling itself at my face man it was ugly. I pulled my necklace off and cut it's head off. I also roasted it a little bit with ya know the flames from my sword. I turned back to Gabe putting my necklace back on His bite mark started to fade and heal until it was nothing but a scar. I took him inside to Virgo and she basically just gave him cookies and wrapped him up in a blanket.

"Gabe, do you have any idea where he's got Cappy?" I asked he shook his head

"No clue, I tried to stop him though. I really did" I stabbed my knife as hard as I could through the table in anger. virgo slapped me but I didn't care I needed to find Cappy right now. Or she could make a decision we'll all regret. I grabbed my gun and went outside. I need to calm down. No. I need to find Callie. I went back inside.

"I need to find the number Callie called from." I said Gabe being the techy one found it in less than 10 seconds. I nodded and typed the number into my cell phone that I got while in town.

"I can track where they are if you can hook your phone up to my laptop" Gabe said I nodded and he instantly pulled out a long chord. I dialed the number

"Okay before he answers I need to tell you, You need to stay on the line with whoever answers for as long as possible. Okay?" I nodded and as if on cue I heard Ophy's voice.

"What"

"Where's Cappy." I demanded.

"Thinking" He said snidely

"What is she thinking about?" I demanded again.

"Who's side she's gonna choose, She's actually considering mine Aries. I hope you know that" My jaw set I glanced at Gabe who motioned for me to go on.

"She might be contemplating your side but she's been on our side her whole life. We are her friends and family. She's not gonna throw us away." Ophy laughed

"Well what do you do with a toy you've grown out of" He asked

"You turn it into a toy you would want now." He sighed i knew I

answered wrong.

"No you throw it away or leave it behind. She's grown out of you guys." He paused "I'm going to make it more than just a zodiac star sign. We will be next generation Gods" he said putting drama on "Gods"

"And how will you be a God people these days barely believe in the Gods that are already gods, remember Ophy the Gods are considered Greek Myths, Roman Myths, celtic Myths, or even Norse Myths. Ophy do you really want to be considered a myth?" I said trying to buy time

"Even if it is just in Mythology I'm still going to be in the history books forever, just like Zeus or Hercules." I rolled my eyes I never was a big fan of Hercules. I like Achilles, He's more of a hero.

"Okay. but you'd be what? One of thirteen. When the people are only gonna remember twelve." There was another pause. I glanced to Gabe who was conveniently tapping away on his computer.

"NO ARIES THAT'S THE THING I'D BE CUTTING YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO GET IN MY WAY OUT OF THE PICTURE" I laughed this time

"Ophy use logic. Do you really believe you could take us out?" Ophy chuckled.

"Yes I really do." He started to laugh like a maniac I really knew he was trying hard to be the bad guy but you could really tell. He hung up

"Did you get the location?" Gabe nodded

"no I've been sitting here eating popcorn for the past 3 minutes" he said sarcastically.

"So where are they?" I asked

"Well in the middle of the Sonoran Desert to be exact 908 5th street in Temecula." he said. "That would take an hour and 45 minutes to drive." He stopped and looked around the room "if you're going speed limit." I laughed I got the feeling he knew I didn't do speed limit.

"I need something to drive preferably a motorcycle." Violet frowned as soon as I said that.

"Aries I think you're the only one dumb enough to get a motorcycle." She said I then frowned

"Okay fine I'll take your car." Virgo's face went pale

"I don't have a car" I'm not sure if that was a lie or if she just realized that I was gonna need a car.

"I have a car." Sara said holding up her keys. i reached out to take them but she held them a bit higher "I'm not gonna let you drive though." I glared at her

"Sara and I will go save Cappy." I went outside and noticed her car sitting there. It was a black 1967 Chevy Impala. My jaw almost hit the ground It didn't even have a scratch. I can see why she didn't want me to drive. I wouldn't trust me driving either. I got into the passenger seat and set my gun down

"drive as fast as you're comfortable with going as long as it's above speed limit." i said then we drove away. Her black hair was blending into her shirt. it was long sleeved turtle neck but she kinda pulled it off. Her crimson eyes were fixed on the road. She turned the radio on. I didn't know any of the music that was playing but apparently she did. She sang along to every word. A call buzzed in, it's Gemini-er-Gabe.

"gabe, what's wrong?" He sighed

"everything the location seems to be glitching in and out."

"Okay, It's probably just the phone"

"alright" He hung up. The Team's really been coming back together. Sara looked over

"so... " she said awkwardly I had no idea how to start a conversation without it falling into silence again. Maybe if I compliment her. GAH I BET EVERYONE ELSE LEARNED HOW TO SPEAK TO PEOPLE OF THE HUMAN RACE BUT NO NOT ME I'M JUST OVER HERE MR.SILENCE! Okay what's a good complement? I looked at her she was beautiful, no that might show weakness, I guess she smells nice. Her hair smells like roses

"Your hair smells nice" My eyes widened and I blushed the deepest color of red I've ever heard of when I realized what I just said. Oh crap she probably thinks I'm a creepy stalker now!. She was driving just a little bit faster. I messed up again.
