The lovely Xander and his pretty eyes. Ugh. -dies-

Anyways, sorry the update took so long. I actually had stuff to do, and well I was stuck in an airport for god knows how long. Horrible.

So yeah, thanks again for the amazing people who vote for my story. Hope you all have fuckboi free days <3

Sincerely the couch potato.

"Honey, are you alright?" Mom asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

I hesitantly nod and mutter my answer, "Yeah. Uh I guess."

Mom pulls me aside with a knowing look I gave her a confused one in response. "Give him a chance Ellie. He's a nice boy. Don't let other people judge for you," she whispered then pushed me back beside him.

My dad's a part of a mafia family, and now this. Keon's my older brother. The one people warned me about. He's standing right here, in front of me, being beyond ecstatic to see me.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I'm Keon," he held his hand out smiling apologetically. I shakily held his hand to shake it, but was surprised to be yanked over to what looked like the way to the kitchen. As we walk hand in hand, Keon kept rambling on about how we'll spend time and have fun.

"What do you do in your spare time?" He asked as he dug his way through the fridge to get a beer.

"I read, draw, and exercise." I shook my head when he offered me a beer.

"Cool. I can't stand reading, can't draw a nice stick figure, but I do exercise." Keon flexes his arms making his muscles more defined. I pursed my lips together trying to stifle my laughter. The man standing in front of me was undoubtedly named Keon, but he didn't act like anything Xander and Julia told me.

Keon was actually super nice, friendly, and playful. His amiable personality broke through my anxiety and we instantly became friends so to say. He kept telling me about some funny stuff that happened in his childhood, while I made sarcastic remarks about his poor choices.

"Oh come on. It wasn't that bad," he whined. I crossed my arm shaking my head laughing,

"Poking a needle through your finger with a sewing machine is bad!" Keon rolled his eyes and nudged me hard enough so I almost fell off the bar stool I sat on.

"Asshole!" I slammed my hand on the counter for grip and sat back. He laughed clutching his stomach. I grab an apple and threw it at his face.

"Nope," he chuckled and caught the apple effortlessly.

"Remind me to never play baseball with you," I huffed. Keon pats my head and gets his second beer. His smile falters at the sight of a very petite woman standing in the door way looking at us.

"Clara," Keon spat with venom. The woman ignores his hostility and tapped her way over to me with her heels.

She had big curls of her blonde hair with strips of brown bouncing as she walked barely reaching her shoulders. Her light brown eyes sparkled under the lights. And her bright pink lips made her smile look like a duck face. The tight red dress she wore looked like a second skin on her. All in all, she looked like a barbie doll.

"Keon, aren't you going to introduce me?" She sounds offended but Keon looked like he couldn't care less. She rolls her eyes and held a hand out showing the engagement ring with a huge stone stuck to it.

"I'm Clara. Your dad's fiance. It's so nice to meet you!" The sickly sweet tone of her voice made it sound fake.

"I'm Ellie," I put on a friendly smile and shook her hand ignoring the weird feeling her long polished acrylic nails felt against my hands.
