Sigh. I had literally almost got fired...AGAIN. It's been the fourth time, and I'm quite sure the residents of Survey Corp Apartments will boycott my ass out since I probably can't even pay rent. I reached the apartment and headed towards the elevator. I was WAY too lazy to walk up the stairs. Yawning, I pressed the '7' button on the elevator. The elevator rose slowly into the air. Suddenly, I felt my eyes drooping....then I heard a ding! before I blacked out...

OH MY FUCKING GOSH. Just how much of an idiot am I, falling asleep on an elevator? I slowly rubbed my eyes, only to see another sight. Only the person I despise the most. Levi Ackerman. "Tch. Brat. Who even falls asleep in an elevator anyway?" "H-how did y-you get in!?" I ask, pointing at him. Slowly, I could feel my cheeks getting warm. Shit. No, no, NO!!! Don't blush! No (Y/N) !! Don't let that return!! Wait...why the fuck is the elevator not moving? "Wait a second, why is this elevator not moving?" "First, I am trying to get to my apartment on floor 7, which means I'm a resident. Second of all, this elevator is stuck; it'll be at least two hours for help to come. Third, don't ask that many questions," Levi said. "I didn't ask a third question," I say innocently. "Though wait....I thought you...WAIT!? You moved in!?" I blurt out. Levi lightly nods with a smirk. Ugh. No! WHY WORLD, WHY....I don't think I can face him anymore...especially after that happened...

-----Flashback-----

"Hey, you!!" Levi shouted. "Don't bully (Y/N) anymore or I'll kick your ass you dimwit lowlife!" Reluctantly, the girl walked away, sulking. I sat there, my shirt covered with dirt and blood, my shins and legs in bruises, and my head buried in my arms, crying for what seemed like the millionth time. Quickly, I rubbed all my tears away, not wanting Levi to see them. I gulped. "Levi, it's okay, you don't have to do this anymore, I'm fine, I assure you." Levi gave me the look that meant 'Don't fuck with me'. He reached out his hand and I took it. I could hear footsteps. Levi grabbed ahold of my arm, careful to make sure that it wasn't the bully's friends. Luckily, it was just Armin and Mikasa. Seeing my injuries, they started to run over. "(Y/N), you okay?" Armin asked, with a worried expression. "Do you need to go to the infirmary?" "No," I say lightly. "It was just some injuries, that's all." Worriedly, Mikasa softly grips my arm and says, "It's more than injuries...(Y/N), they're physically bullying you. It's her, isn't it?" Levi raises up my chin. "I'll be taking her to the infirmary,you two go for now. Don't confront them, alright?" They nod, and they walk back towards their classroom. "Let's go (Y/N), " Levi says as he carries me on his back, giving me a piggyback ride. Slowly, I can feel my cheeks getting red.

"Tsk, tsk," the nurse said. "Did you injure yourself Miss (L/N)? You've came in here three times this past month. You sure you're okay?" I nod, shaking. "Actually-" "No, Levi, I'm okay," I cut in, giving Levi the look that meant 'We'll deal with this later' "She got bullied," Levi adds. "Hmm...sweetheart who was it? Don't be scared to tell us, okay? It's alright, sweetheart. The principal will know and suspend that student," the nurse says, tending to my wounds. I flinch a bit, but manage to stay calm. "There, all done," the nurse says as she finishes bandaging up my wounds. "Miss (L/N), I expect you to tell the principal, alright? It's for your sake," the nurse adds as me and Levi walk out the door. "Levi...why did you tell her?" "For your sake," Levi says as the bell rings and students file into the class. "I'll see you after school," Levi says in this tone that is unmistakeable. He wants to tell me something. I go to my locker and get my books when he comes. "Um...I thought you were coming after school to meet me, " I say. "Just thought I would tell you now. I-li-li" Suddenly, she comes over. I prepare for the insults and punches she'll throw at me, and as she's about to punch me, she doesn't. Slowly, my eyes widen. Levi was grabbing her arm, tighter and before. "Leave her alone. If I ever see that face of yours again, I'll ruin your pretty little face," Levi barks, and she leaves, sulking once more. Within earshot, I could hear her insults. 'rotten little bitch' and 'slut', she said. Levi silently slips out and walks up to her. I see tints of red on her cheeks before I get escorted into class.
