The Secrets Beneath Beacon Hills (Teen Wolf / Derek Hale)

Chapter 2

Derek’s P.O.V.

   After the mall incident I decided it was time to go back to the old burnt down house. I had to stay on the down low and the Argents have forgotten about this house plus I could search for McCall another day. Who knows he might even come look for me since I was an alpha. As far as I know he’s an omega and the lone wolf never survives without an alpha. I remembered that Lucy said that there was school tomorrow so I will have to chat with Scott afterwards. I was only Thursday and hopefully I can talk to Lucy tomorrow ask her if she knows anything about McCall. 

Maci's  P.O.V.

“Who was that back there Lucy?”

“Oh Derek Hale he’s an old family friend.”

“I’ve never seen him before and you’ve never talked about him before.”

“Well you see about 10 years ago when Derek was at school someone burnt down his family’s house and trapped his family inside. They all died and when Derek fount out he ran away before he was ever able to be fostered. So I guess he’s back now that he’s older and doesn’t have anyone looking for him anymore.”

“Wow I think I’ve heard Scott mention him once or twice to Stiles when he was over. Speaking of Stiles how are you two?”

“We are great we had an amazing summer together. Now that his dad is working full time we get more time if you know what I mean.”, She said smiling as we pulled into her driveway.

“I don’t want to hear any of yours and Stiles’ sex stories.”, I said as she got out of the car. “See you tomorrow Lucy you going to ride with me or Stiles?”

“Stiles we have something to do after school.”, she said smiling as she shut the door.

   When I got home I went to see if Scott was there but he wasn’t I assumed him and Stiles where still out doing whatever the hell they do. I couldn’t help but wonder about Derek. I needed to go talk to Sherriff Stilinski I know he would let me look at the file. I decided that I would do it tomorrow I needed some sort of an excuse to get it.

   I awoke the next morning and got ready for school I was ready for a new year but not ready to go and look at Alex. I swear if I have any classes with him I might have to kill myself. I pulled in and seen Lucy and Stiles there but no Scott.  

“Hey have any of you seen Scott he didn’t come home last night.”

“Last time I seen him he was leaving my house. He might of went over to Allison‘s house.”, Stiles said.

“Umm you would be correct.”, Lucy said as he and Allison pulled into school. 

“Well we know that they’re ready for school.”, I said as they stepped out of the car. 

“Let’s go see if we have any classes together Maci.”, Lucy said.

“Alrigth.”

   Me and Lucy where the only two Juniors in our group Stiles, Scott, and Allison where all Seniors this year. Which means we will be on our own next year which sorta sucks. As we walked into the gym we got our schedules and sat down on the bleachers until the our homeroom called us. Me and Lucy where always in different homerooms because of our last name. But that only means Alex is going to be in there shit I thought. Ugh flashback of freshman year flooded my head when I first seen him I thought he was the cutest thing ever. Mr.Harris call our names and we walked to his class. Alex was behind me and I could feel him looking at my ass I felt so violated. He probably misses what he had when he had it too bad he wont be tasting this anymore. I just wanted to turn around and slap the shit out of him but that would have to go on to my to do list since we havent spoken since the night we broke up. 

“Sit down class and I will begin to check roll.”, Mr. Harris said in his creepy monotone vioce.

   I sat down as Alex sat right in front of me he knew exactly what he was doing. Him and that little whore didn’t last so he was slowly trying to get me back. He wore extra clone the kind I got him for his birthday last year I almost miss that smell. I took a deep breath as Mr. Harris started to call roll.

“Alex Mason?”, he called off.

“Here.”, he said as I cringed at the sound of his voice. I was bittersweet I missed it but I also hated it at the same time. 

“Maci McCall?”

“Here.”, I replied soft but a little sternly.

  He finished the roll and told us a little bit about his class and what not.

“Some of you might be lucky enough to have me in class. Oh, boy do I hope so I wonder how many of you will fail by the end of the year?”, he said sarcastically. Now I see why Scott hated him so much he was a total asshole. As he kept on talking Alex handed a note back to me. My heart started to pound the feelings started to come back but I remember the promise I made to myself. The note read: “Can we talk?” I replied with a “I guess so.”  The bell rang and I went out to my car since we only had to stay until 9:30. Stiles and Lucy came out of the school and she said that we where doing something tonight.

“I’ll text you the details alright Maci.”

“Alright.”,I replied.

  I stood at my car and waited for Alex to come but he didn’t show up. As I got in my car he knocked on my window. I unlocked the doors as he got in. 

“Can we go somewhere more private?”, he asked.

Derek’s P.O.V.

   I went over to McCall’s house and sat in his room and waited for him to get home. I heard a car pull in and it sat there for a second as I listened in. 

“Well I’m just glad the first day is over.”, a girl said that must be Allison Argent.

“Me too!”, he said as he kissed her and she kissed him back. “Do you want to come in?”, he asked. 

“No I really must get going me and my father have to go do something.”

“Alright see you tomorrow then.”

“Alright.”, she said.

   He shut the car door and I heard him unlock the door as he walked up the steps he came in his room I sat on the end of his bed.

“Hello Scott glad we have finally been able to meet.”, I said with my claws drawn as he looked up at me.
