"I am going to miss you so much, please visit soon" She cries and I pat her back awkwardly.
"Oh Gab... you are getting snot on my shoulder" I say wincing.
She tightens her hold on me "I never thought you would leave, I thought we would live next to each other with our mates and oh my gosh" she cries harder after she says the last thing.
I roll my eyes "Yeah well you must know why that wouldn't work out"
"I'm so sorry Isabella" Gabriella sobs into my shoulder.
I look at Wally then back at Gabriella "It's alright, it's just a shirt" I say, perfectly knowing Ella wasn't referring to getting snot all over my shoulder but about the accident.
An accident Walter has no idea happened and one I have no intention of telling him about.
I may have become a bitch and kind of hate Gabriella but I would never make her think differently of her.
It's just not me.
I'm fine with silently hating her.
"Isabella!" My father yells from outside and I quickly untangle myself from Gabriella.
"Gotta blast"
Then I walk towards my dad.
"Yes?" I ask as soon as I see him putting the last box on the trunk of my car.
"Are you sure you don't want us to come up with you honey, there's a lot of things you have to unpack and we could help" I shake my head.
"I'm fine daddy, don't worry about it. I want to figure things out be on my own"
His brown eyes soften. "Oh Bella, you'll find your mate soon and when you do he will treat you like the princess you are"
I give him a fake smile "I know dad, he will be great and faithful and he won't have green eyes with brown hair"
My dad stares at me in disapproval "You should love your mate no matter what he looks like, I taught you better Bella what matters is what is on the inside"
What if the inside is full of shit? I think to myself but instead say.
"Yes, I know I'm only kidding"
"Good, now go say goodbye to everyone or you will be late" My dad says pulling me into a hug and kissing my forehead.
"Okie dokie, MOM GET OUT HERE" I yell making my father cover his eats.
"Jesus Isabella, don't scream" he scolds and I roll my eyes.
Soon enough my mom, Gabriella and Walter exit the house.
"Call me when you get there" Gabriella says, her face blotchy from crying so much.
I stare at her for a moment, I want to start new. I need to let this go.
So after a really long time I give her my first real smile. "I'll call you as soon as I can" then I hug her.
She stares at me in shock, I never start any physical contact with her.
I give her one last smile and Walk to Walter.
"Have fun Bella" Wally says wrapping his arms around me in a really tight kind of painful hug.
"I definitely will, Wally" I say grinning at him.
And them it's my Mom
"I'm going to miss you Ma" I say giving my mother a tight hug, my eyes watering.
