Just four days until my birthday. I honestly don't think my parents will be here for it. Graham has stayed at the house for three nights now. It's been fun, he's been showing me some moves just incase there's a situation when he's not there and  I need to protect myself. Graham has been good to me, he still has his serious moments and it kills the mood sometimes but then i have to come in and make him laugh so he'll stop being so serious.

"Have your parents said if they were coming in time for your birthday?" He asked as we sat in his office eating chinese take out.

"No, they call me everyday and they haven't said a word about it. I just try to not get my hopes up. They haven't been here for my birthday since my tenth birthday so i guess you  could say im used to it."

"Don't you wish they were there though?" he asked.

"Oh yes, of course, but you know, im used to it, their jobs make it difficult for them to go home whenever they want. I'm extremely grateful to have them as my parents and all, but it's just hard sometimes. But thats the way life is, you don't always get what you want" i said.

"You know for a seventeen year old girl, you've got some wise words" Ethan pointed out.

"I'm very mature for your information." i said smiling at him.

"Oh yea?" he asked "Then a mature person would have remembered to pick up their cap and gown for graduation"

"Shit" i muttered. "Oh my god i'll be right back i have to go get it."

"But some one, even after a few days of knowing you, knows that they had to get it for you." he said hold up a plastic bag that contains my cap and gown.

"Oh my gosh, thank you so much" i thanked him taking the bag from him. "I don't understand how i could've forgot"

"Look that doesn't matter, we have to go to the auditorium, the seniors need to understand the dress code for graduation."

"Right now?" i complained.

"Yes right now, you can take your food with you but leave your bags in here." he said

I was more than happy i got to take my food. We walked over to the auditorium and i texted the girls to come meet us over here. When the bell rang to signal lunch was over all the seniors began to come in quickly

"Oh look, it's a whole row of people I can't stand" I said pointing to the front row.

"Do you really not like that many people?" Ethan asked.

"Graham, she can barely tolerate us. And we've all been best friends since we were two" Morgan said.

"I'm surprised she hasn't completely ignored you yet." Taylor said.

"Or cussed you out" Riley added

Ethan just looked at me with one eyebrow raised.

"Hey I don't know why I haven't either" I said raising my arms. " Maybe because I can respect a man who can get all the moves perfect on one of Britney Spears songs"

Ethan didn't say anything and just laughed and so did I. Ethan looked out to the crowd of seniors and realized that everyone was there and began the meeting/assembly.

"Good afternoon everyone. Principal Fare couldn't join us today, she had other matters to attend to. So I will be taking control of this assembly. Now let's talk about what you all really came for" Ethan said.

He's been getting somewhat better at the whole Vice Principal act. He's not perfect but he's not bad. I actually think he's starting to care about everything that's going on with the school.
