"Damnit!" Daryl yelled, kicking the wall of the office. He turned to me. "It's all your fault you little bitch!" he screamed at me. "You didn't kill this little fucker and then you let his friends take Glenn!"

The little fucker would be the Mexican teen we took hostage. He was currently sitting on the floor in front of us.

"I tried Daryl, but there was so much going on and I-"

"I don't want to hear lame excuses from you," Daryl spat.

"We need to calm down," Rick said, placing a hand on Daryl's shoulder. Daryl shrugged it off and gave me a dirty look. "I'm not going to assign blame for our situation with Glenn because everyone played a part in it," Rick said.

"Some more than others," I muttered under my breath.

"How the hell can you blame this on me?" Daryl demanded.

"If you weren't trying to beat the whereabouts of your brother from him," I said, gesturing to the teen on the floor, "we could've saved Glenn!"

Daryl shook his head. "Everything would have went fine if we hadn't brought this bitch with us," he said to no one in particular.

"We need to calm down and think of a plan to save Glenn," T-Dog piped up.

I shook my head in agreement. "They were there for the guns too. My guess is that they aren't going to give us Glenn without some sort of trade, most likely for the guns," I reasoned. "Maybe if we go there, give them a few guns and this little puto, and maybe they'll hand over Glenn."

"No, we can't afford to do that. We'll go there and talk to them, try to trade him for Glenn. If that doesn't work, we have the guns to fight them," Rick said.

"What's the difference? If we use the ammo and guns to fight them or if we give them a few guns and some ammo. It's still going to waste," I argued.

"If we give them the guns and ammo they will kill us with the very gift we gave them," Daryl spat.

Rick turned to the Mexican boy. "Those men you were with, we need to know where they went," he demanded.

"I ain't telling you nothing," he refused.

"A moment please?" I asked of Rick. He looked at me, puzzled. "I just need to talk to him," I explained.

"If you need us, just call, we'll be right outside the door," Rick agreed. Daryl shot me a look. Was it worry? No, not from him. Jealousy, maybe? I couldn't tell.

They left and I turned to the boy. "What's your name?" I asked, kneeling in front of him. He sat there silently, refusing to answer. "This would go a lot quicker if you would answer my questions," I said. He sighed.

"Miguel," he said. "My name is Miguel."

"Well, Miguel, unless you take us to your friends, we can't help you. I can't help you. I know how it feels to be separated from a group, and I think that you would be very happy to get back to your group," I stated. He nodded. "I won't let the others hurt you. We just want to talk to your friends, okay?"

"I'll take you to them," Miguel said quietly.

"Boys," I said, standing. The three of them rushed in to see what was the matter. "Nothing's wrong. Calm down. He's agreed to take us to the others," I informed him.

"How?" Rick asked, astonished.

"I tried being nice," I said, throwing Daryl a look. He rolled his eyes.

Miguel explained that the place was only a little ways from where we were, so we decided to take back alleys and walk. Daryl went in front, crossbow loaded and drawn, pushing Miguel ahead of us. Rick covered Daryl, and T-Dog covered me as I brought up the back.

"Here," Miguel said finally.

"Remember, don't fire at them unless they fire at you," Rick said. "Maybe you should stay outside," Rick said to me.

"Absolutely not," I refused.

"Fine, but stay back. They might use you against us," Rick said.

"In what way?" I demanded.

"They might target you because you're-"

"A weak little woman?" I spat. Rick stayed silent, just shaking his head. "C'mon Miguel," I said. He led the way inside.

We hadn't made it far inside into a courtyard before a large door opened, and we were greeted by the same men who had taken Glenn, although he was nowhere to be seen.

"Greetings," I said before Rick could. "We were hoping to have a few words with you."

The man who seemed to be leading the others gestured for me to continue. I looked at Miguel. "We were hoping that we could figure out a way to trade Miguel here for Glenn," I stated. The man shook his head, smirking.

"No way. You want your Asian boy back, I want my guns," he said.

"Then lets sweeten the deal," I said. "We get Glenn, we give you a few handguns and some ammo," I said. Rick stepped up, pushing me back.

"I told you, we're going to talk this out, not give up our guns," he said angrily.

"Trust me," I whispered to him. He shook his head, but backed off.

"Sounds good to me, as long as the Lone Ranger over there doesn't mind," said the Mexican man.

"He doesn't," I said. "Four guns and Miguel for Glenn?" I asked, holding out my hand. He took it, shaking it.

"Deal."
