Mo and I were out with Cairo and Yanae. Siani and Zaelyn were at school, and both Mo and I have been really busy lately; so we decided to take off for the day and spend a little time with our two youngest.

We started off the day with breakfast at iHop, then we went to the museum where we also had lunch. Now we're at the park enjoying a nice stroll.

Nae was explaining something to me, but I couldn't really focus cause I was busy looking at her face. All day I couldn't really pinpoint what it was, but now I know.

"Are you wearing make up?" I asked, cutting her off in the process.

She made a weird face then nodded. "Duh dad. Anyway like I was saying-"

"Wait. When did you start wearing make up?" I asked.

"Ducks! Ducks!" I heard Cai cheer from Mo's arms.

"Nae go take your sister to go see the ducks please." Mo said handing Cairo to her.

A few seconds later she was a safe distance away with Cairo by the lake where the ducks were.

"What was that?" Mo asked me kinda pissed.

"What do you mean?"

"She's a girl, of course she's gonna wear make up at some point in time!"

"I know. I just didn't think that point would come so...fast." I said thinking back.

"She is gonna be in high school next year babe."

I shook my head. "Thats crazy."

"Its all going by so fast." Mo agreed.

"Do you ever feel like we're not involved enough in their lives." I asked out of the nowhere.

Mo looked at me strangely. "Why would you think that. We know all of their friends, plus they're all good kids. There's nothing to worry about." I just nodded. "Also if one of them had a problem I'm pretty sure they'd come to us."

I nodded. "True."

"Do you think we should start going back to church more frequently?" She asked.

We use to go to church every Sunday, but our schedules started to get busier and it just wasn't working.

Just because you go to church every Sunday doesn't mean you're saved, and even if you don't doesn't mean you aren't.

My kids know who God is and how to talk to him so that's all that matters honestly.

"You know we're strict CEO people." I said.

"CEO?"

"Church on Easter only." I said causing Mo to laugh.

"Yeah. I'm just glad there aren't any problems. You realize this is the first time we're raising a kid without any chaos?"

"Oh wow, I never thought of that." I said honestly.

With Si I dealt with all that drama from her mother. With Zae me and Mo were going through all that shit from the mission and my enimies coming for us, also her getting kidnapped and everything. Then with Nae we weren't even together for most of it seeing that I thought she wasn't mine, and Mo was married to someone else.
