"Sabrina, could you pass this rice cake later to the new neighbours? I heard they are korean and it's a form of respect to welcome them. They'll be here any minute," mum said.

"Oooh korean? Perfect. My chance to make a kdrama come to life," I said while looking up.

"Don't be silly. Now go get ready."

I heard a van pulling in. Guess it's the new neighbour.

"Sabrina! It's time!" Mum yelled.

*rings the bell*

"Oh-oh. Hello. What are you here for?" the lady around middle age asked.

Huh, she probably does not have any children because she really looked young.

"I'm here to give you this rice cake to welcome you guys here, in LA. So, welcome!" I said cheerfully.

"Oh, kamsahab- I mean thank you," she said with a smile.

"You can talk in korean. I understand it a little," I replied.

"Jimin-ah! Take this 'tteok' and put it in the kitchen!" She yelled in the house.

"Mum, I'm unpacking!" I heard a male voice from inside.

"Oh you're learning english?" I asked.

"To get used to this environment. Yes."

"I see. Well, see you around!" I waved and walked towards my house.

I went upstairs to my bedroom. Thinking about it, my life might actually be like one of those korean dramas. Like 'EXO next door'. Except it's a normal guy. Or what about 'Cheer Up!'. But he has to go to the same school as me.
