Pyrrha's POV

I'm sitting in Dr. Oobleck's class, not even really paying much attention to what he's saying. I rested my chin on the heel of my palm, trying to act like I'm being attentive. Then I felt someone tap my arm as if they were trying to get my attention. I looked over to find a note by my arm. I opened it and read it. 'Everything okay Pyrrha? ~ Blake' I sighed softly, debating whether or not to reply. I took my pencil in hand and began to write a reply.

'I don't know. It feels like I'm missing something but I don't know what. ~ Pyrrha' I passed her back the note when Oobleck wasn't looking. It didn't take her long to write a reply.

'What do you mean? ~ Blake'

'I don't even know myself. ~ Pyrrha'

'Is it something to do with Jaune? I noticed at lunch how you were around him. ~ Blake'

'I don't know. Maybe. All of a sudden I got this feeling that makes me feel like I'm incomplete. ~ Pyrrha'

'I think I might know what it is. ~ Blake'

'What? ~ Pyrrha'

'You like him Pyrrha. You like Jaune. ~ Blake'

'I guess that could explain it. ~ Pyrrha'

'No, that is what's going on. I'm still aware of what goes on around me while I'm reading. ~ Blake'

Could she be right? It would make the most sense. I thought about it more. I even looked over to where Jaune was sitting. He was asleep, softly snoring. When I looked at him, it was like my heart fluttered. 'What do you suggest that I do then? ~ Pyrrha'

'Tell him how you feel. Trust me. Like I even like someone but I can't even speak up to say anything to her. ~ Blake'

'Her? Is it Yang? ~ Pyrrha'

When she read my reply, a faint blush came over her cheeks. That answered my question. 'Yeah. I can't help it. She's different. Different than anyone I've ever met. Would it be weird if I said that I followed her in the Emerald Forest so I could be her partner? ~ Blake'

'Not at all. I don't see a problem with it. How did you know that you liked her? ~ Pyrrha'

'Well, when she pulled Ruby over to properly introduce herself to me, I tried to brush it off. I was trying to get rid of them when I was trying to read my book. But that little voice that you can get in your head was screaming at me to keep her talking to me. She seemed pretty cool. I didn't know what to do and I still don't. ~ Blake'

'You'll know eventually Blake. Ever thought that you haven't been able to tell her how you feel because Ruby and Weiss are always around? ~ Pyrrha'

'Yeah, I have. I think that's one reason at least. It's just that I don't know if she likes me too. I don't want to make things awkward between us, you know? ~ Blake'

'Do you want me to help you? ~ Pyrrha'

'I don't know. Maybe. ~ Blake'

'Why don't we help each other then? It seems fair. ~ Pyrrha'

'Okay. Looks like we have a plan. ~ Blake'

She had a smile on her face and I reciprocated with a smile of my own. That was when the bell rung. Jaune sort of jumped since he was asleep. I'll tell him what we have to read tonight later. Blake and I walked out together. "What do you have now," I asked her in curiosity.

"Free period...with Yang," she said slightly nervous. I placed a hand on her shoulder.

"I have a free period as well. I'll try to catch up with Yang before she gets to the dorm. I can ask her about what I should do about what we talked about," I said. She nodded with a smile. I wasn't about to say out loud that I wanted to see what Yang had to say about with me slightly attracted to Jaune. We went in separate directions. I knew the route Yang took to get back to her dorm room from her last class. I see her once in awhile walking alone. Blake took a different route so she could make it to the dorm without being seen by her teammates.
