Watching Ben And Carlos

*Mandy's view*

I sat on the bench next to the field,Carlos asked me if I would be there for support.Of course I said yes, he is my little brother after all.

I winked at Ben when he saw me,he blushed then turned to Carlos.

Ben: "Okay.Carlos, we're gonna do some sprints.You ready?"

Carlos nods his head yes,suddenly we heard a dog barking.Ben looks up and sees Carlos being chased by a dog.

Carlos: "No, wait!"

I laughed when Ben timed him.

Ben: "Sweet!"

But Carlos ran past him, and didn't stop.I got up and started to run, while Ben looks at Carlos.

Ben: "Carlos? Carlos!"

Now I see Ben running to Carlos, I stopped when I heard his voice.

Carlos: "No, stop!"

Me and Ben ran to him, he was in a tree.We both yelled his name.

Carlos: "Ben? Maddy?"

We stopped running.

Carlos: "Ben, Maddy, help me!"

I watched Ben pick up the dog.

Carlos: "This thing is a killer! He's gonna chase me down and rip out my throat.This is a vicious, rabid pack animal!"

I smiled started petting the poor thing.

Ben: "Hey, who told you that?"

Me: "His mother."

Carlos nods his head yes.

Ben: "Cruella?"

Carlos: "She's a dog expert.A dog yellerer."

Ben chuckles.

Carlos: "Why are you holding him? Maddy, why are you petting him? He's gonna attack you both!"

Ben: "Carlos, you've never actually met a dog, have you?"

Carlos: "Of course not."

Ben looks at the dog.

Ben: "Dude, meet Carlos.Carlos, this is Dude.He's the campus mutt."

I walked to Carlos, and gave him an encouraging smile.Carlos looks at me, then at Dude.

Carlos: "He doesn't look like a vicious,rabid pack animal."

Me: "Come on.And take your sister's hand."

He climbed down the tree, then took my hand. And I guided him to Ben and Dude, then I let go of his hand.

Ben: "Jeez."

Carlos walks to them slowly.

Carlos: "You're a good boy, aren't you?"

Ben hands the dog to Carlos.

Carlos: "You're a good boy."

Ben: "I guess you guys have it pretty rough on the Island.That's what Maddy said."

Carlos: "Yeah, let's just say we don't get a lot of belly rubs."

Ben: "Good boy."

I burst out laughing when he said that,and Carlos at him confused.

Ben: "I mean, you're a good runner.You're...You're fast, you know."

Carlos: "Thanks."

Ben: "Yeah.Hey, how about you come find me, when your all done getting to know each other."

Carlos: "Okay."

When Ben walked away,I looked at Carlos and smiled at him,which he happily smiled back.Then I walked away,and smiled when I saw Ben waiting for me.
