The problem with associating the ultimate truth with people and placing them on a pedestal is that if not often, seldom they do something painstakingly hurtful that spirals towards the edge of being catastrophic and then it feels like the breathe has been knocked out of your chest and when it does you feel like you lose your grip on the tattered strand whose end comes closer than you perceive and then you fall into a pit full of hungry lions and then after agonizing moments of pain and betrayal you realize it's all your mind playing tricks on you.
