Kuroko no Basket One Shots

Baking *Murasakibara Atsushi*

You had thought that it would be a great idea to bake some cupcakes and a cake for your boyfriend, Murasakibara Atsushi. Key word there was 'thought'.

You looked around at the mess that you had made of the kitchen. There was a mixture of sugar, flour, and eggs everywhere.

Somehow, you had managed to get the various baking ingredients on the ceiling.

You knew that he would be back from basketball practice soon and you cursed,  not caring if anyone heard or not.

"I just wanted to do something nice for him." Murasakibara was always doing cute things for you and just this once you had wanted to try and do something for him.

"Eh? What did you want to do, (First Name)-Chin?" You panicked when you saw him standing in the doorway of the kitchen.

His eyes lazily scanned over the mess that you had made of the kitchen. "Did a bomb go off in here?" You felt your face flush bright red. "I'm sorry, Atsushi-Kun."

You were surprised when he started cleaning up the mess. You were about to ask him what he was doing but you were interrupted. "Go get changed into clean  clothes and then come back down."

His usual monotonous voice was stern and instead of arguing with him, like you  normally would. You went up to your shared bedroom and got changed.

You were slightly disgusted to see that you were covered in flour, sugar, and eggs. Just like the kitchen. Luckily, there wasn't any in your hair. You peeled off the clothes that were starting to stick to you, thanks to the eggs. You got changed into a pair of black running shorts and a grey jumper and headed back downstairs.

The sight that met your eyes was surprising. The kitchen was clean, as if there was no mess to begin with and, Murasakibara was standing there, with a bowl and was contently stirring.

He must of felt you staring because he lifted his eyes off the bowl and looked into yours. "(First Name)-Chin." He beckoned you over and placed the bowl in your hands.

"I'm going to teach you how to bake."

Murasakibara spent about an hour, teaching you not just how to bake, but also loads of different recipes for cupcakes and cakes.

The apartment was filled with the amazing smell of baked goods and you couldn't wait to try them.

That was when the problem began. The waiting. It was driving you mad.

"Atsushi." You were lying with your head on his lap and the two of you were watching adventure time. "What, (First Name)-Chin?" You gave him a pout, trying to look cute. "Are you sure the cakes aren't ready yet?"

He gave you an annoyed look. "They aren't ready yet. It's only been 10 minutes."

You groaned. "But the waiting is killing me." He shrugged a little. "What do you want me to do?" A mischeivous smile spread across your face.

"I have an idea."
