A/N: so I made this story years ago and I think this sucks but continue reading (: just give it a try and tell me what you think

Savannah Roberts is not one ordinary girl. There’s just something in her that's not like the others. Yes, she's got the looks, she's an awesome friend, is athletic and not to mention her straight A's but still, she refuses to be popular. Why? Simply because of her past. She had a bestfriend, let us emphasize the word 'had'. The name's Gavin Hudson and they have been best of friends since the day they were born. Savannah and Gavin's families are really close to each other, they're even neighbors. Since Savannah and Gavin's mom went to middle school, high school and college together, they want Savannah and Gavin to be bestfriends as well. They let them do anything together, they play every day, shop for baby clothes together and even change they're diapers together. And when they were old enough, they would leave Savannah and Gavin in an ice cream shop that's near the neighborhood and let them bond while eating a flavored ice cream of their choice.

When they were thirteen years old, just the age things start to get serious. People always mock on Gavin because he was one of the boys that wore glasses, small polo shirts and lame jeans. Gavin didn't care about it at first but when the teasing continued he couldn't stand it anymore. Savannah noticed the trouble it's causing his beloved bestfriend and she helped him, fixed him up. Suggested him to wear appropriate clothes and maybe changed his hair style a little. He didn't wear his glasses anymore; he gave it to Savannah as a remembrance of the old Gavin. When the make-over was finished, Gavin was happy.

The next year, Gavin transformed from a total nerd to a total hottie. He started joining clubs because he wasn't afraid anymore. He's confident now. That made Savannah worried. That's when Savannah started asking herself: did she really help Gavin for the better or she just helped him to forget about the friendship they had and be a total stranger in Gavin's eyes?

Gavin started to hang out with the popular crowd in the high school years, from nerd to hottie to a star player in their school's football team. It was really impressive how things change so fast. The 14 year friendship they had was gone in a week Gavin had the 'ultimate make-over'.

So Savannah had no choice to find new friends, she won't let Gavin ruin her life just because he left her. She had true bestfriends this time, Laura Hart and Monica Richards. She's closer to Laura, because after she lost Gavin, they instantly became friends. But for Monica, she met her just last sophomore year.

So if you still don't know why Savannah refuses to be popular is because she's afraid of the changes that are gonna happen. She doesn't want to leave her friends behind, either. She doesn't want to be the center of attraction or in other terms, center of the school's latest gossip. She just wants to pass her high school life, go to a university and follow her dreams either to be an architect or a lawyer. She's really a go-with-the-flow kind of girl. Always sweet and nice, but if you dare to mess with her, she can turn to your worst nightmare.

So what happens when the boy he hated gets on her soft side?
