Chapter 1: the masked guy

"My name is (y/n)."

"I'm 19 years old, and just started a few months ago on the ninja academy in Konohagakure."

"I'm living with my brother Yamato."

"He is the only family member I have."

"My parents died when I was very young, my brother told me so."

"I don't even remember them."

"But I'm glad I still have my brother Yamato who's at my side."

*Later on the day in school during class*:

"The lessons are finally over."

"I'm still sitting behind my desk as all the students left the classroom."

"There was one guy that didn't leave."

"I've been keeping an eye on him for quit a while."

"He always stays in the classroom whenever the lessons are over."

"Still don't know who the guy is though."

"The color if his hair is white/grey and he is wearing a mask on his face that is covering his whole face and his left eye."

"I always have been seeing him alone during breaks or when we're out of school."

"He's a quiet type."

"Never talks."

"Also never heard him in class either."

"Maybe he's one of those arrogant types?"

"Tchh."

"I shouldn't talk to creeps like him."

"Just ignore it, (y/n)."

"Leave him be."

As I held my school books in my hands I quietly walked towards the door to get out of the classroom.

After I got out I saw some girls and boys in the hall from far away who were staring at me with hatred in their eyes.

"Those looks again."

"It's as if they're looking at some kind of demonish creature."

"It all started after my 7th birthday."

"I remember it so well."

"The hateful expressions of citizens, classmates, teachers and even children."

"Hatred radiates from their eyes."

"I haven't done anything wrong to them."

"And they're still giving me those looks over years."

"The loneliness kills me from deep inside."

"I feel so left out."

As I looked very sadly at the ground while holding my books in my hands
I tried to pass them by.

I realized that one of the guys pushed me.

I instantly fell on rhe ground as my head reached the ground and all my books flew all over the hall.
