Chapter 7: Back To Reality

Jangmae quickly jumped into the driver's seat and without further ado, drived the car quickly out of the venue. Jiyong and Dara kept comforting their sons.

"I'm sorry, yoebo. I didn't expect this to happen, " Jiyong wrapped an arm around his wife and brought her closer so he could kiss her head. He knew how scared Dara must have been and he felt so sorry for coming up with the idea of going public without escorts and even bringing their sons. Good thing, YG staffs were there, waiting for Dara.

"It's okay, Ji. I know you didn't mean harm. It's okay." Dara looked up to him and forced a smile and that made him kiss her once more.

"Hush now, boys. There's nothing to cry about anymore. Eomma and Appa are both with you." Jiyong assured his sons before turning to Dara. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. Soohyuk and Ilwoo helped me get in here."

"Yeah, I saw them. The crowd got distracted by them. Too bad, I wasn't able to even thank those two."

"Let's treat them next time. I think Soohyuk misses hanging out with you," Dara told Jiyong while rocking Yongse on her lap.

"He's asleep." Jiyong said wonderingly.

"I know. It's almost their nap time. These two are also sleepy, " Dara pointed her lips at Yong il and Yongdu. Jiyong laughed in a hushed voice.

"Aigoo... No wonder they got easily irritated."

"Ji, I heard that the preview of ROS is going to be aired tomorrow," Dara told Jiyong who suddenly stiffened at the mention of the show."

"Oh... Really? "

"Yah... How could you not know? " Dara eyed him weirdly. "I need to watch the preview and check out the netizens comments."

"Aisht, I told you to stop checking out the internet for some useless comments. Don't mind those articles and stuff." Jiyong waved his hand dismissively buy immediately stopped when he suddenly remembered he just checked some comments and articles last week during the ROS shoot, and how he reacted violently.

He cleared his throat. "Don't watch the preview. Please. " Jiyong kept a straight face and adjusted his now sleeping sons on each of his shoulders.

"Why? It's just a preview. I'm just excited about it."

"Just don't." Jiyong looked away uneasily.

"Yah..." Dara laughed at Jiyong. "Your hiding something."

"I'm not. It's just that... That... " Jiyong looked up and thought of an excuse. "We're or tomorrow, "

"O-kay... " Dara nodded. "Then after that I can watch the preview right? "

"Noooo!!! "

Dara immediately clamped her husband's mouth. "Yah Kwon Jiyong keep quiet! You're going to wake your sons up!"

Jiyong was finally able to take a deep breath when Dara did not argue about it anymore but his short peace of mind was suddenly disturbed by a phone call from no other than YG.

"Oh hyung, why? "

"I heard about the chaos at Dara's script reading venue. Why... aisht! How could you be so careless, Jiyong? "

"Hyung, not now please."

Hyun Suk cleared his throat and soon, he started to sound more calm. "Anyway... Jiyong. I need you to check your email when you get home."

"Why? " Jiyong asked coldly.

"Uhm... There are just some few proposals I would kike you to think about."

"What is it this time? "

"Endorsements."

"Turn them down. I've had enough of it."

"Will you listen to me first? It's not just for you! Okay... One here is for your whole family, the others for your sons and... This one is for you and the boys and... "

The list went on that Jiyong just couldn't believe that the demand on him and his family was that high even after their hiatus. He dropped the call and turned his phone off.

"Why? What is it? " Dara asked worriedly but Jiyong just grabbed her hand and held it in his as they rode home in silence.
