It all flooded back from there.

Colorful lighting streamed in from the windows as if they were made of stained glass. It was hot in the house, but not too hot. It was the perfect temperature for all eight of us to play outside on the front lawn.

I had no idea what we were trying to do. Everyone was running around in circles while I sat on the grass, clueless of what I wanted to do next. The grass rustled nearby, and Xy sat next to me. She noticed how lonely I was during their game, and then we started to talk about something I wish I remembered. Our words were muffled in the memory, but I remembered the both of us laughing out loud and smiling wide.

The doctors called us to get inside the house. He led us to our room, filled with six kid-sized beds. One by one they put each of us to sleep, and we haven't woken up as normal people since then.
