The Lily

The Wilted Lilies washed up on the shore,
Scattering,
Tattered up,
Oh how easily they tore

Fragile as they were,
They blew to the side.
From the whirlwind of life,
They felt butchered with a knife.

The once pure lily of the valley,
the one that lit up the night,
the star it was,
was crushed
and went out of sight.
