jess (regina's house )
"hey, where's henry?" questioned his ever so curious mom. in all honesty, i haven't seen henry in two days. he was probably out with his girlfriend, violet, whom he had been dating for about a month now. "don't know" i shrugged. sure, the fact that henry is dating someone he's known for only about two months bugs me when i've known him forever, but he's happy now and that's what matters.
as regina exited out the door, a loud swing of the door downstairs and stoping could be heard. next to my own room, henry shut the door in his; sobbing could be heard. regina tried to get henry to open the door, but it was locked shut.
third person point of view
in an hour's time the saddened boy came out of his room and into the one next to it. tears still clouded his vision, and the girl came to notice that right in front of her. he walked in slowly, not ready to tell her what happened earlier that day. but she didn't need an explanation, she knew what happened based off his actions. she took a step, whereas he shot straight to her. the comfort of his best friend reminded him that he was not alone.
"do you want to talk about it?" questioned the girl. the boy, now in the girl's arms, began sobbing more. truthfully, he wanted to talk about it, but he wasn't quite ready.
that night, jess stayed in henry's room. they had a disney movie marathon, played video games, and ate a whole bunch, but that could not take away the fact that henry's first love was gone forever.

time skip (one week)
he did good. it's been a week and he's finally gotten over violet. i must say, at this age, i've seen people take months to get over a breakup. we've talked more now that she was gone, and i guess that was better than moping around in a room alone.
we walked into granny's when a smile grew on henry's face. "hannah!" (shout to gilmoreobsessed ayy) henry exclaimed. "henry!" she replied ecstatically, embracing him in a long hug. "who's this?" i thought to myself. "this is hannah, my new girlfriend" henry replied to me. oh, i said that out loud.
it felt strange, henry just broke up with his previous girlfriend, and a week later he has a new one?
i held out my hand, "i'm jess, nice to meet you" i said to hannah. "you too." she said with a sly smile. "why don't you find us a spot? i need to talk to jess real quick." henry said before giving hannah a quick kiss on her cheek. she nodded towards her boyfriend while turning her body in hopes to find an empty booth. "yeah?" i turned to henry. "um, well, i wanted to spend some alone time with hannah so i was hoping you could go home? or something?" he quietly said. i was surprised, henry has never asked me this before. "uh, yeah, i guess." i assured him while walking out of the diner.
