Ch.9 Mistakes

Reika's POV 

When I woke up...... something was different...... it seemed sort of off.......

though I'm still not exactly sure what its about.......

no one was next to me this time.....

everything was quiet........

nothing seemed out of the ordinary but I just had this feeling and I couldn't shake it.....

was it the weather?.......... no........

So what?

Glancing around the room

I blinked

Seeing something that wasn't there when I went to bed last night......

I blinked again

Am I seeing things? How did that get there? is this an after affect of almost taking my life multiple times?

Wait.............. is that even possible?

I shake the thought from my head

Looking over it again I rub my eyes just to make sure I'm not imagining it

Yeah its real and right in front of me

What is this some kinda joke?

I'll bet your guessing what it was exactly I'm talking about......

there's flowers.

yup, that's right

Someone left me flowers on my table......

I suppose any normal person wouldn't find it strange or hard to believe at all but....... I do.

I don't get flowers..... and real flowers at that, not plastic or one's that have a trap inside them when you get too close.....

I HATE those.....

This is weird....

Oh look..... there's a note.............. and its from Kiba....

I roll my eyes

"What's this supposed to be about?" I wondered

Next thing I knew there was knocking on my door

"Who is it?"

"Its me" 

I sighed

opening the door to see kiba and Akamaru who was smirking like he was up to something

I glared

"What are you up to?" I asked suspiciously

He feind ignorance

"What do you mean?" 

"What's with you? why are there flowers in my apartment?" 

He scratched the back of his neck nervously

"W-What.....you didn't like them?" 

"It isn't that.......what are you planning"

"I'm not planning anything" 

"I don't believe you......what are they squirt flowers? I think you already used that once"

He scoffed

"C'mon can't you have some faith in my promise?" 

My eyes narrowed

"No" I stated bluntly and emotionlessly
