Belles POV

"Belle!!! Belle!!" Henry's cries made my eyes flicker.
My eyes weren't even open and I could feel the heat of the flames surrounding us.
I groaned as the feeling of my stomach came back to me, breathing hard, fighting the urge to throw up.
"Belle! We can't get out!!" Henry was sobbing.
My hand clenched to my stomach, I staggered to my feet.
There must be a way.
There has to be.
"No!! Stay down, you can't," Henry grabbed my arm.
I shook him off, stumbling toward the cots.
"Belle please," Henry ran after me.
"We have to get you out..." I coughed, breathing in the smoke.
The air is getting thick.
The babies, they won't be able to handle all this smoke, they need to get out now!
I crumpled as my coughing made the pain in my stomach only worse.
Henry caught me and I straightened up, gazing at the fire around me.
Noah and Neil were crying.
Wailing.
I so badly want to do the same.
But I can't.
I'm the adult here.
Have to be strong...
I take a deep breath and scoop Neil into my arms as Henry picked up Noah.
"...shh...shh..." I tried to soothe the wailing prince.
I looked around me.
The whole loft was in flames, everywhere I looked angry red and orange met my gaze.
Have to get them out.
Henry. Noah. Neil.
I try to cover Neil's face but not smother him, Henry doing the same to Noah.
I reach out for the door handle -
"STOP!" Henry yelled.
I staggered around, frowning, not being able to speak.
"If you open that - THAT WILL EXPLODE!!" Henry yelled over the flames, pointing to a can attached to string.
I flinched my hand back.
Oliver set a trap before he left.
If I'd have done that, we'd all have been blown up.
For goodness sake Belle!!! Look!!! Think!!!!
I looked around madly.
How do I get them out?
Everywhere is on fire- the window.
The flames had not reached that yet, but it wouldn't be long until they did, so I went as fast as I could over to it.
To my delight, I see people outside!!
"They're gonna save us!!" Henry coughed.
I nodded, opening the window.
Come on.
Get them out.
Breathe.
Forget about your stomach...

Rumples POV

Magic was useless.
The flames were too large.
"BELLE!" I screamed.
She is in there.
MY WIFE AND CHILD ARE IN THERE!
"Belle!!"
I knew it was useless.
Please tell me she's still alive!!
Please - please!!
What if they're already...already...
I almost was sick thinking about Belle, Noah, Neil and Henry consumed by flames.
I ran over to David as he ran out of the stairs.
"It's useless - whoever did this was clever!" He shouted among the spitting flames.
"We can open the door - there's a contraption which will explode killing whoever stands next to it and the people inside!" He coughed.
"Someone did this?!" Regina shouted.
My heart stopped.
"There must be some way!!" I yelled.
Where are the fire engines?!
Raising my hand to the building, sweat pouring off my forehead - I use all my strength to stop it.
I yelled as the fire was too strong.
Belle!
I can't lose her.
I can't!!!

"Gold - magic is useless, hold the end of this!" Charming yelled.
With a flick of Regina's wrist, a large ladder appeared in both of their hands, tall enough to reach the window at the top of the building.
I stared up.
My heart fell.
There she was.
Belle was at the window, one of the children in her hands.
She was banging on the window, something coming off her hands and smudging on it?
"...belle..." I gasped, seeing her overwhelming me.
My Belle.
My beautiful wife.
Trapped.
In a frenzy of panic I snatched the ladder and placed it against the building, starting to climb.
"Gold no!" Strong hands pulled me.
"Stop! Let me, I'm stronger than you, I'll get to the top and you and Regina can use magic to get Neil and Noah down safely, then Belle and Henry can climb out, after," he panted.
"No! I need to get to them!" I yelled.
"It will be quicker for us, please! I promise, I promise we will get them in time!" Charming urged.
Letting go of the ladder I jumped down.
I watched helplessly as Charming scurried up the ladder, the heat of the fire warming my face even more.
I held one side of the ladder, Regina the other, waiting for Charmings signal.
Come on!
I raged inside almost as much as the fire was roaring above me.
I watched David, helping Belle open the window.
My heart is beating so hard I feel it may fall out of my chest.
I can't lose Belle.
I can't lose Noah.
Not my child, not again...
Not my wife...not again....

Belles POV

Charmings face appeared in the window and I struggled with one hand to open the window.
As soon as he did, he paled, noticing the blood.
"...who's hurt?" He yelled, the orange reflecting off his sweaty face.
"He's fine he's fine-" I pant, passing Neil through the window.
Charming leaned forward and took him in his arms.
I coughed, covering my mouth for a second.
As I turned around, I heard Charming call for Regina.
Taking Noah from Henry, I look down at my baby.
I touched her cheek, a line of blood smudged on her.
"...I love you..." I whispered, trying not to splutter all over her.
I turned back to the window, surprised to see Charming no longer with Neil.
My heart stopped.
"..where's..."
"He's fine, Regina has him," Charming held his hand out for Noah.
Using all my will, I leaned and passed Noah to him, feeling the weight of her leave me.
I staggered back around and grabbed Henry's shoulders, and pushed him toward the window.
"Okay, Regina now has Noah, so Henry climb down after me, I'll go down a few steps, but I'm right here ok, I'm right here Henry," Charming went down a few steps of the ladder to make room for Henry.
I squeezed Henry's shoulder and helped him climb through the window.
I can't breathe...
I can't....
"Belle come on," Henry called.
"Yeh...I'm coming, we ... Need to get you out first...." I coughed.

Rumple POV

Trying so hard to focus on each one without dropping them from mid air, we lower the babies down one by one.
A small part of me relaxed as I held my daughter in my hands.
I gasped as I saw the red stain on her face.
Rubbing it gently it cleared, no wound?
She's not hurt.
"Regina, is Neal injured?" I looked up.
"No he's fine," she replied, passing him over to a worried Snow.
I looked up at too see Charming near the bottom of the ladder, also Henry.
Henry is safe.
But is he injured? Was it his blood?
Charming jumped to the bottom and helped Henry down before climbing back on up to get Belle.
Emma checked him over breathlessly,
"No it's not him either," she looked up.
Then it must be...
Must be Belles blood.
I had to take a step back, my head dizzy.
Belle is bleeding?
How badly?
A lot?
A little?
My heart sank even more as I notice the bloodied tea towel Henry was clutching.
"Henry?" I gasped.
Henry shook his head, looking up to the window, still tears in his eyes.
"Henry?!" I yelled - explain boy!
"She's not okay..." He stutters burying himself into Regina, Emma's hand on his shoulder.
I have to get to her.
"Please, take her," i said shifting Noah into Emma's arms.
"Gold what are you-"
But before she could reply, there was an ear splitting explosion, making everyone duck, the whole crowd shrieking, and the sound of David and the ladder, smacking to the ground.

I looked up, the window was no more.
The building had started to collapsed.

-----------------------------------------
😭😭😭😭😭😭 another cliffhanger guys!!
And I know Emma could have taken a role but I really wanted David to a hero role as he's pretty great as well :)
