Rumples POV
The last time I saw my wife, she was crying, screaming, crawling on the floor.
Heart broken.
Like me.
We've been walking for so long I have no idea how far we are away from her.
But I will get back to her.
I will.
But how?
The ran hasn't stopped pouring.
I've tried to keep Noah as dry as I can, but we are both soaked.
My hair is stuck to my face, dripping.
My close shrunk, tight to my skin.
My arms hurt from carrying Noah in the same position for hours, my feet sore, rubbing against my leather shoes, wrecked from the rain.
Oh Belle, I need you.
I need you.
I fall to my knees in despair.
I'm never going to see you again....
I miss you already...
I lose control and let out an almighty wail, looking up at the dark sky.
I can't even see the stars.
I can't see anything.
Nothing looks right here, without her.
I look down at Noah, my tears dripping on her face.
She's starting to cry.
"Sh...." I wail, I don't know what to do.
My crying has woken her up.
Yelling in the middle of nowhere Rumplestiltskin.... In front of a baby...
She must be terrified.
I'm terrified!
I have no idea where I am or how close I am to civilisation...
Pull yourself together Gold.
You need to be strong for your daughter.
If I have any intention of seeing Belle ever again, you have to pull your self together.
I tried to wipe my soaked face with my shoulder as Noah was still in my arms.
I took a deep breath and looked up.
I look into the distance and strain my eyes.
The blurry red lights of a motel sign comes into view through the rain.
I pick myself up and start waking, ignoring the stifling pain in my right leg, willing myself onwards.

Belles POV
Slowly, I creep back into Storybrooke.
I can't get my head around what's just happened.
If I'd never have taken us to the town line - if I'd have just let him explain.
This never would have happened.
The Snow Queen would never have taken Noah and Rumple and he wouldn't be alone, scared, out in the world.
I reach the town centre and just stop.
That was last time I'm ever going to see him.
The last time I'm ever going to see my husband, and my daughter....
I'm not going to see her grow up.
Her first steps.
First words.
Won't get to see how proud Rumple will become.
I stare into the window of Granny's.
It seems as of everyone is there, the whole town.
They look happy.
Celebrating something.
I look over to see Emma and Hook kissing passionately in a corner.
Snow and Charming, cuddling with Neal in a booth.
His arm around her, tucked close.
I watched them and my heart broke all over again.
How dare they have everything.
HOW DARE THEY I internally scream.
Why should they get the perfect life and I don't?
Why did I just have all of my family ripped away from me, forever, and they have it all.
Snow looked up and saw me.
She frowned then looked to Charming.
They could have grown up together...
"Belle?!" She gasps as she sees my face.
I could feel mascara dripping down my face, yet I do nothing to clean it.
"What's wrong?" I look to her and she seems concerned.
I don't answer and just stare at her.
She has everything.
"Didn't you hear, we are safe - the Snow Queen - she's gone!!" She beams.
Gone.
That wretched woman who took my family away from me.
"Belle?" She whispers.
My eyes fall back to Neal.
I see Snows body move and turn to the diner window, before turning around to me again.
"What's going on, why are you looking at him like that?" She's worried.
I shook my head.
"Belle say something," she squeezed my shoulder.
I jumped back and felt the tears streaming.
I hear footsteps and see Emma and Hook coming out of the diner.
"Mom?" Emma asked.
She stopped by her mother as she saw me.
I wanted to keel over and throw up as Hook slid his arm around Emma's waist.
How dare they be together.
When I can't be with Rumple.
"Belle?" They all said my name.
I looked back to Neal.
Where's my Noah?
Is she ok?
Is she safe?
They all started to speak at the same time - I can't stand it.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" I screamed.
They all flinched backwards with shock.
I stood there, panting from my sudden outburst.
"Belle, if you're upset -"
"DONT TALK TO ME!" I yelled.
"...Belle.." Emma gasped.
"....it's not fair...." I stuttered.
"What are you talking about?" Snow leaned toward me.
We stood there in silence before I finally said,
"He's gone...." I barely managed to say?
"Gold? Waddaya mean he's gone - where?" Emma pressed.
"HE'S GONE!!" I raised my shaking hands and put them across my mouth.
"What happened?" Snow gulped,
"The snow Queen...... She forced him across.... Across the townline...." I sobbed
"Oh belle I'm sorry...." Snow gasped, her hand running to her mouth.
"What about Noah, is she safe?"
All I could was shake my head,
I can't breathe....
"....my beautiful baby girl...." I choked.
"She went over too...." Emma finished it off for me.
I stumbled past them.
Not being able to cope, hearing it come from someone else.
I stumbled and wailed.
"Belle - wait, let us help you," Emma rushed behind me.
"No, I need to be alone...." I sobbed, pushing her away.
"Look love, this might be for the best, the crocodile had this coming," I stop dead as I hear Hooks voice.
I span around, reaching him in a blur, my palm colliding with his cheek.
"Belle!" Snow shouted.
"YOU DONT GET TO TALK ABOUT HIM LIKE THAT!!" I scream.
He looked at me in shock.
They all look at me, waiting for an apology, as usual.
They're not getting one this time.
I turned around and tried to make my way home.
This time nobody followed me.
I fumbled with the key, shoving it into the lock and falling into the house.
His scent hit me straight away.
I slammed the door and fell into the kitchen...
The first thing I see is one of his blazers hanging on the back of one of the kitchen high chairs,
I stare at it for a minute.
Then suddenly dive for it.
I fall to the floor... Burying my face in it.
Trying to convince myself it was really him.
My face buried in his chest.
But no.
It's just a jacket.
I look up and my eyes fall on his small whiskey collection.
I shakily get up and pull a bottle from the shelf.
This helps him doesn't it?
It will help me.
I screw off the lid and threw my head back and gulped it.
It stings.
It's burning my throat.
It hurts so bad.
But I don't stop.
I keep gluggling and gluggling until nearly half the bottle has disappeared.
I remove the bottle from my lips and wipe them with my sleeve, shaking a little from the taste.
I don't drink....
But if it helps him.
It must help me.
I stared at it for a second, before gluggling the rest and grabbing another two bottles.
I can't stay here.
Not with the reminder of my family everywhere.
Not even bothering to lock the door I tripped out of the house,
Soon enough, finding myself at the library.

Rumples POV
"But please! I have nowhere else to go!" I plead with the man at the desk.
"Sorry sir, no money, no room," he folded his arms.
"Please, just for one night, I have a child!" I tried to pull at the heart strings.
If I had my magic this wouldn't be a problem.
I could have manipulated him into giving us some keys to a penthouse suite by now...
"No,"
"But PLEASE!" I raised my voice.
"Once again sir I will have to say no! Motel rules I'm afraid', he said smugly.
"JUST ONE GOD DAMN NIGHT!" I slammed my hand onto the desk.
"No sir if you don't leave within the next five seconds I will have to call the authorities," he placed his hand on the desk phone.
I grit my teeth and glared at him as I walked out.
I made sure I was out of earshot before I crumpled.
I leaned against the wall for support, Noah still curled up in my arms.
"I'm sorry......" I wept.
"Excuse me, sir, are, are you ok?" An innocent voice came from behind me.
I turned to see a young man stood behind me.
He had a kind face, soft features, a kind worried smile on his face.
"Yes...yes I'm fine.... I'll leave now, I'm going...." I grumbled
"No wait, I heard you in there...." I glanced over his shoulder to the door.
I turned round.
He hesitated for a minute and then took a bunch of keys from his pocket.
"Follow me," he said, walking toward the motel buildings, quickly.
I followed him as quickly as my leg would let me.
He unlocked one of the apartments and bustle Noah and I in.
"Are you allowed to do this?" I asked.
"No...no not really... But I mean, you look like you need help, besides you have a child," he shut the curtains.
"...thank you...." I must admit, I am slightly shocked by this sudden act of kindness.
Maybe there are a few decent people in this land.
My legs creaked as I set myself down on the bed.
"Oh..." I closed my eyes, the feeling of sitting down for the first time in a while over whelming me.
"Gosh, you have travelled far haven't you? Where have you come from?" The man asked.
"Uh... Maine..." I said.
The boys jaws dropped.
"Woah....that's a long way.... You're on the outskirts of New York sir," he looked shocked.
"Oh...." I didn't know what else to say.
It was silent for a couple of seconds before he finally said,
"I'll go and get you some food, and something for the little one," he smiled.
"But as you heard, I don't have any money," I looked down at Noah.
She seems to be a bit calmer now, in the warmth.
"That's no trouble, I've been where you are.... I understand," I smiled sympathetically.
I nodded and my eyes drifted to his name tag.
Oliver.
"Thank you...."
"Well I'll be back in a bit, with hot food don't you worry, there's plenty of hot water so please feel free to take as long as you want in the shower, although, I'm not sure we have a baby bath.... I'll see what I can find," he smiled, before leaving.
I sighed, looking down to Noah, stroking her cheek.
A shower sounds good.
But then I need to figure out what I'm going to do.
Oliver is being very kind, but with that snob at the desk, I'm not sure how long he's going to get away with hiding us here....

Belles POV
I sat on the cold floor of the library.
Leaning my head on a bookshelf.
One empty glass of whiskey rolling around the floor, a nearly empty one in my hand.
Blurrily, I looked around.
I was so sure I was going to leave this place behind.
So sure I'd never return.
I sighed and dripped the last trickle of whiskey in my mouth.
It's all gone.
I need more.
I used the bookcase to help myself up and knocked over the entire thing.
I stared at it and wiped my nose with my sleeve.
Woops.
I stumbled out of the library and into the local shop.
I basically fell in and giggled as I knocked over a load of, postcards I think?
Pfft, who'd want to come on holiday here....
I made my way over to the alcohol section.
Wow there's so many.
I know Rumples extremely picky.
But I don't care, I'll drink anything.
I grabbed as many bottles as my arms could hold and banged them all onto the counter in front of Sneezy.
"These please...." I stumbled with my words.
"....belle, are you sure buying all these is a good idea?" Sneezy asked nervously.
"Why not?" I leaned forward onto the counter.
He grimaced, leaning away.
Because of my breath?
I breathed into my hand and smelt it, shrugging my shoulders.
"Belle, I'm afraid I can't serve you," he sneezed.
"Sure you can, I have, I have money and everything," I pulled my wallet out of my pocket and frisbeed it at him.
He ducked just in time and it smashed a vase behind him.
"Oh!!" I giggled, my hand going to my mouth.
"Belle, I'm going to have to ask you to leave," his cheeks reddened.
"Woah, calm down angry," I laughed at my own joke.
I didn't see him dialling the sheriffs station as I grabbed the bottles and staggered my way out of the shop.
As soon as I was out there, flashing blue lights stopped me.
Sneezy came out behind me, with folded arms.
I looked from Sneezy, to Emma, who had her arms folded too.
"Anyone want a drink?" I laughed.
