Everything faded to black as she stole his heart and power.

Life is hollow. What is the point of being a king of a kingdom if you don't have a queen to rule with.
"I wonder what she's doing now?" The lonely King whispers to himself as he wastes away, sitting on his throne.
"Who, my lord." A little, ugly goblin asks in a tiny and scratchy voice.
With those words, voices trailed off into oblivion. Thinking back to the ball, she was so beautiful in that dress. More beautiful than Mizumi.....
Mizumi!
"That's it!" Flinging his body on his feet, scaring the little goblins beside him.
"Wait... I can't do that. I don't trust she won't do anything with me gone...If I go then I would need someone to look after the throne..." Pacing back and forth, thinking about all his options while muttering to himself. All of the goblins looked at their king sideways like he's crazy. Snapping his fingers as a thought emerges.
"Toby!" Running out, slamming the door leaving behind very confused goblins.
