Chapter 7

"Yo-you love me?" I looked up at him, a small genuine smile slipping onto my face.

"Of course I love you. Can't you tell? You were there for me, you cared about me.." He grabbed both my hands now, sitting next to me on the couch.

"I-I love you too.." I involuntary  said, my heart doing to talking for me.

He smiled back at me, and picked me up off of the couch, "Well how about we go and have fun then, what we came up here to do."

"That sounds great." I replied before laying a short soft kiss on his lips, having to stand on his tippy toes to reach them.

We walked back into the dining room were Ashely and Chris has set up the board.

"So, let's get this party started." I said with a smile on my face, signaling we had resolved the problem, at least for now.

Everyone smiled at me, and continued onto the board.

"So, it says here to communicate to the spirit world you must free your mind of all preconceptions, drop all inhibitions, and generally give yourself over entirely to the will of others, sublimating your entire desire to the 'Spirit Master', which is me-" Chris joked.

"It does not say that-"

"And all present will remove their garments at my soul desecration."

"Chris come on, this is serious." Josh wasn't putting up with him.

"Oh I'm deadly serious." He put on a evil laugh.

I stayed quite due to the fact I never wanted to us this. I was somewhat gullible, making me believe that if this does work, it could be..could be Hannah or Beth...

"Oh shush it, let's try this."

"Yes please."

"Ok then, let's see what happens." Chris said as we all put our hands on the little mover in the middle of the board.

"Ashely, since your a recent convert, why don't you be our medium for today."

"Ok, um, anyone there? Will you reveal yourself to us if your there?" She questioned with caution.

When I began to believe it didn't work, it started to move. My heart started to race as it moved to the H, then to the E, then to the L and finally to the P.

I blocked out the others voices, focusing on the spirits asking.

"Help..." I mumbled under m my breath.

"Help..help who, Ashley ask who." I said clearer now.

"Who are you?" She asked worry dripping from her words.

It started to move again; S-I-S-T-E-R

"No, no, no, no.." I mumbled again.

"Whose sister?" Josh said getting nervous.

I started to pant, my head slowly shaking back and forth.
