"Josh!" I proclaimed, hope lingering in my voice as I walked over to the door.

"No, we don't know who it is yet. Let me and Mike go." Chris held out his arm, restricting me from moving forward.

"Don't be ridiculous, who else can it be." I pushed away from Chris's arm.

"Just let me and Chris take this one, alright Bells?" Now Mike siding with Chris.

"Fine dipshits." I sighed, going back with Ashely, Sam, and Emily.

They walked up to the door together, Chris holding the gun to the door and Mike getting ready to open it. They better not shoot Josh. Before the pair got a chance to open it, an older man slammed into the door, forcing it open, knocking Chris down, surprising me.

"Chris!" I yelled as the stranger hit him with the end of his flamethrower.

"Ok everybody just calm down. Now just move over there. Go on, move! Let me say what I came to say." He pushed himself into the cabin, making the boys run toward us.

"I'm here to tell you what your up against being back on this mountain. You should never have returned. I don't know why you did after what happened last year." The stranger said gazing into the fire.

"You mean what happened with Ha-Hannah and Beth..." I said solemnly.

"You know about Hannah and Beth?" Ashely said in nearly a whisper.

"Yeah, how could you know without being involved..." Chris spoke up.

"Or without being responsible." Sam replied getting suspicious.

"You hold on to your horses. I don't take kindly to you kids coming up here to my mountain." The stranger said.

"Your mountain? I'm sure the Washington's would be very surprised to hear that." Mike joined the conversation.

"Hehheh, well the mountain doesn't belong to me, it's true, but it don't belong to the Washington's. This mountain belongs to the wendigo." The stranger sounded like he was telling a story to kids to get them scared.

"Who?" Chris chucked.

"What's he talking about?" Sam asked.

"What the hell's a wendigo?" Mike questioned.

As for me, I was getting frustrated with all of these antics. Josh is still out there, and I have to go get him.

"Listen, I don't care about your little folktale shit, but my friend is it there and I have to go get him." I growled at everyone.

"Wait Bella, let's hear him out." Sam replied, wanting to hear what he had to say.

"Not like we have a choice." Mike sighed, referring to strangers flamethrower pointed at all of us.

"Now I'm only gonna tell you this once, doesn't matter to me if you believe it or not. I got reasons I want to..Get it off my chest..." The stranger continued to pace back and forth.

"See, I told you. He's guilty as shit! Guilty of something!" Mike said, he's patience getting low.

"Shh, shut up Mike!" Sam getting annoyed by all of our complaining.
