Chapter 7

Before we went to go use the spirit board, Josh pulled Chris aside into the kitchen. It was too good to resist, me and Ash just had to eves drop.

"Comon Ash, let's go see what they're talking about." I giggled hiding around the corner from them.

I expected it to be about Chris and Ashely, for Josh wad always trying to get them together.

"Chris, your sister has been taking morphine." Josh quietly said, the smiling wiping right from my face, as well as Ashely, who was now looking at me with shock. I tried to pull her away from the door, but she wouldn't budge.

"How'd you find out?" Chris seriously said, lowering his voice even more.

"I caught her in the kitchen."

"She promised me she wouldn't take anything up here.." Chris sighed, absolutely disappointed in me.

To be quite honest, I was disappointed in myself.

"Well, she already had a line set up when I walked in there." Josh replied.

"I'll..I'll talk to her.." Chris rubbed his temples, absolutely fed up with my addiction.

Ashely now pulled me back into the living room, "Bella, you didn't tell me about this. Why didn't you tell me? I could've helped you!" She whispered yelled, getting mad at me, but still keeping her cool.

"I don't need any of your help. I'm fine. Just..just leave me alone." I ran into the dining room before Josh and Chris could hear our conversation. Now everyone knows about this..great...

We entered the dining room and sat down at the table, while Chris gave me a glare of disappointment.

"Fine, I know you all know about my little addiction. Yes, I am addicted. The normal meds I was getting weren't helping so I got my own meds. I've been through a lot ok, this is the last of my worries." I said, just wanting to become lighthearted again so we could all have fun.

"But, you promised me Bella. This is not good for you." Chris was worried were this would get me.

"Can we just drop this? I came up here to have fun, not to bring up my problems." I sighed, just wanting to forget about this.

"It's not just gonna go away on its own Bella." Ashley grabbed my hand that was on the table.

"I have the right calculations, I won't overdose. If I take a certain amount each time, I'll be fine." I assured them, closing my eyes and shaking my head.

"It doesn't matter, you shouldn't be taking it at all." Chris replied.

"Just leave me alone!" I ran into the living room, upset if how my friends thought of me.

Josh followed close behind me, finding me sobbing into a pillow.

"Why did you tell him? Why!" I cried.

"I had too Bella! I'm worried about you!" He grabbed my hand.

"Well don't be! Just stop worrying!" I yelled in between my cries.

"But it's my job to worry Bella! I have to worry because I love you!" His confession slipped from his mouth, his face immediately getting red afterwards.
