Natsu's POV

It was in the middle of the night that something woke me up, it was placed beside my head and it was hot to which it startled me and thought that my house was burning but found that it was just happy who was gasping for air like he ran a marathon. I checked if his okay but found that his temperature was above mine.

"Hey bud you okay?" I asked and received a groan as a reply

"Natsuu~ it hurts and it's cold" Happy whined in a hoarse voice "can we go to Lucy's?" happy pleaded

"why Lucy's though?" I asked in curiosity but happy fell asleep and so decided that I'll get my answers later, and happy's condition is the most fundamental thing right now and so I grabbed my vest and ran from my house to the pavement of Strawberry Street.

When I looked up at the familiar surroundings I knew that I was at my destination seeming that I'm already out of breathe due to my feet running too fast. I quickly found and maneuvered my way up to Lucy's window and when I found it open as always, I quickly but gently laid Happy down her soft mattress beside her whose back was facing me and entered the window without difficulty.

"Lucy" I called out but got nothing in response and so poked her shoulders a little hard and got a grunt in response and a little shuffling but never did she made a note to wake up.

"Lucy!" I whisper-shouted while shaking her shoulders and she moaned irritatingly slapping my hand in the process

"Natsu...I'm not surprised that you're here....but...let me sleep....at......least mnnn~" and went back to sleeping

"c'mon Luce! Happy needs you!" to this she quickly shot up and staggered a little in the process rubbing her temples in attempt to remove the vertigo and lied down to her side now facing me with her eyes still heavy with sleep and looked at me

"what happened?" she asked covering her mouth in the process of yawning "where's Happy?" she asked worriedly though still coated in sleep "and remove at least your sandals" she reminded and I complied

"He had a fever and he said that I bring him here" I explained now removing my sandals and throwing them on the floor

Normal POV

"Lucy~" Happy purred out of nowhere and Lucy lifted her covers and found happy soundly asleep beside her belly snuggling more closely and she smiled affectionately at the snuggling feline

"I...think he's fine....though" Lucy lifted the covers for the Dragon Slayer to see. His brows lifted a little in awe then smiled, his toothy grin pasted on his face while patting his blue furred friend who leaned closer to his hand that emitted warmth

"I've never seen happy snuggle someone so-" Natsu said but stopped when the blonde's hands wrapped around Happy's small body bringing the cat closer and covering his own in the process, his eyes traveled from the arm and landed on the face of the once awake Celestial Mage who was now sleeping peacefully, her breathing becoming passive, sometimes scrunching her nose and mouth in irritation but still continued to sleep nonetheless

"A weirdo and Happy's become a weirdo too" Natsu chuckled a little at the thought of Lucy's weirdness being contagious but settled himself under the covers unconsciously, the Dragon Slayer's hand never leaving the felines head which was held by another hand to which a grin spread when the hand tightened around his own and so soon fell asleep.

In the middle of the night the cat was engulfed in warmth everywhere, surrounding him in every direction, he found it relaxing and to his curiosity he opened his eyes to see that he was in between his Best Friend Natsu and his Friend Lucy's embrace
The Feline hid his snicker between his paws and crawled a little higher so he was between their bosoms and continued to sleep while purring.

And in that same night the Dragon Slayer managed to wrapped his arm protectively around the Celestial Mage bringing her closer to his warmth.
