Chapter 8

This is your fate. Your going to die just like us.

The psycho, who I was expecting to hurt me and strangle me, was trying to comfort me, and telling me it was alright in his distorted voice.

"It's fine! Bella it's not real!" He said while attempting to stop me from moving so much.

"HANNAH! BETH! PLEASE!" I yelled again.

The psycho grabbed his mask, pulling off of his head, immediately relaxing after recognizing his familiar face.

"Jo-Josh?" I was still breathing heavily,   while the twins still stared me down.

"Bella, they're not real. Whatever your hearing or seeing, it's not real. I'm hear with you. Your fine, your safe." He told me while cupping my cheeks with his gloves, looking into my eyes.

I was confused, but also relieved that it was him. I watched him with a blank stare, nodding my head while he still held my cheeks.

He started to undo my ties which took so much weight off of my shoulders once my hands were free. I immediately jumped into his arms, sobbing into his collar bone.

"Josh, they're here! They told me I deserve to die here! I do, don't I?" I mumbled into his chest between sobs.

"No, no you deserve to live a long happy life! Don't think like that Bella!" He held onto me tightly, rubbing my back.

I looked into his eyes with a scared, terrified expression plastered into my face, my eyes wide and filled with fear. He slowly bent down and pecked my lips, calming me down.

"Now come on, we have to get out of here, let's go." He still had his arm around my shoulder, pulling me through the room. I looked around, horrified by what I was seeing. A dead pig hung from a meat hook, saw blades all around.

"Jo..Josh wha-what is this?" I questioned in his arms, looking up to him.

"I have no time to explain now. Just stay here, stay here, in this chair. Don't look around, don't worry about sounds. Your safe as long as you stay here, okay?" He said as he placed me down in a chair at the other end of the room.

"You're..you're leaving me? Please don't leave me..they'll come back...if I'm alone..they like to torture me when I'm alone.." I whimpered, hated being alone in such a dark and depressing room.

"I have to go, but I'll be back very very soon, I promise, just stay here, listen to your music, don't focus on them." He replied before patting me on the shoulder and slowly walking away with the mask still in his hand.

"Please, please Joshua, don't be long.." I begged him.

"I wouldn't dream of it." He flashed me a warm smile before closing the door.

I did as I was told, I put in my earbuds and put on my music. I closed my eyes tight and focused on the music. After what I assume was a few minutes, I heard a vent being pushed open. I immediately opened my eyes and took my earbuds out, looking around expecting to see Josh.

"Sam?" I questioned as I squinted my eyes, focusing on her.

"Bella? Is..is that you?"  She asked, coming closer to me.
