Chapter 6

"Yeah, as long as they're here." I squeezed Ashley's hand, who smiled at me.

Sam smiled, and went upstairs to the bathroom.

"Well, I think I'm done with all of this fighting." I chuckled, knowing I couldn't take anymore.

"Josh! The water's freezing!" Sam yelled from the bathroom.

"Come down and help me fix it!" Josh yelled back, followed by her foot steps coming down the stairs.

"How about you guys go and find the spirit board while me and Sam fix the boiler?" Josh smiled at the rest of us.

"That sounds gre-" I was cut off by my phone ringing, I glanced at the screen seeing my therapist pop up.

Josh must've seen it, because his smile suddenly turned to a frown.

"You can go take that call. Sam and I will go and fix the water, Chris, Ashely, you two go get the board." He just helped me out of a very awkward situation, I didn't want anyone hear me yell at my therapist.

Once everyone left, I picked up the phone "What do you want?" I growled.

"Your not taking your medication Bella, they're meant to help you. Your schizophrenia will come back if yo-"

I cut him off, "I'm not some psycho that needs to be on 7 different type of pills at a time. I'll be fine as long as I have the ones that keep the nightmares away." I hissed at him. I couldn't help but feel a bit guilty at my remarks towards him, for I knew he was only trying to help.

"No, you won't. You remember those times in the hospital, don't you? That will start again-"

I got angry at him for bringing those dark times up,"NO, THEY WON'T. IM BETTER THEN THAT NOW!" I hung up, panting heavily.

I quickly fixed myself, because Josh, Sam, and Chris came back up from the basement.

Ashely came in from the kitchen, and we both went up to Chris, who was wearing some weird cloak.

"What in gods name are you wearing?" Ashley questioned.

Chris then made a cross sign with his hands and said "I have found my true calling.", bowing his head afterwards.

"Please tell me your going to take a vow of silence." Ashley's smirk grew as she put her hands up to Chris's face.

My brother being himself, started to mouth words, but nothing came out, making both me and Ashely giggle.

"Ok, ok, did you at least find the thingy?" Ashely said before letting or a few more chuckles.

"Bio-io-io-oing, here's our one way ticket to the spirit realm." Chris held the board high above his head.

"You know what no, I've been through enough spooking for one night, okay. I see a hot bath in my crystal ball. Alright, so have fun. Oh, and watch out for the Josh, he's a schemer." Sam walked back up to the bath room, leaving us four with the spirit board.
