I continued to follow the path, yet having trouble walking, stumbling over my own two feet. Despite how much I didn't want to admit it, Mike was right. I was to wasted to be out here on my own, especially in my poorly dressed outfit. I kept on pushing through the blizzard when I came across a totem.

I picked it up, when a terrible vision flashed before my eyes
The flash of Beth's pink jacket, the spine chilling screams of fear. The sickening crack that came along with the bloody faces and lifeless eyes of Hannah and Beth

"No..no..it can't be! It can't!" I stumbled backwards, dropping the totem, terrified by what I had just witnessed.

Mixed with my unsteady feet and the branch behind me, I tripped, falling down a hill, hitting my head hard on a rock. My eyes were soon covered by the Crimson blood, obstructing my vision.

Soon enough, my whole face was drenched in the sticky substance, "Hannah, Beth..." We're my last words before being swallowed up by the darkness.

~~
It seemed as if voices and loud speakers were booming around me, the ground as cold as ice. I heard a familiar voice echo in the background of my groggy daze.

"Jesus Christ! Chris! Josh! Guys! I found her!" Is what I assumed to be Mike yelling out, or so I think he was yelling out.

I couldn't bare to open my eyes, for my body wouldn't let me. I was to cold, to hung over, and there was to much blood in my eyes. Only when I managed to ever so slightly lift one eye lid, barely allowing me to see what was right in front of me, was I able to confirm my rescuer.

"Oh shit.." He mumbled, not knowing what to do with me, the freezing, blood soaked, what seemed like corps, to him.

"Guys! Hurry up!" He yelled yet once again.

"Shit, I can't wait for them. She'll die!" He continued to talk to himself before scooping me up in his arms with a very inviting warmth that I haven't felt for what felt like days according to my numb red fingers.

I tried to fully wake myself up, to let him know that I was alive, but the temperature that was now rejuvenated my body was pulling me into slumber and the call was to strong to resist.

Yet, I was able to hold out until I was able to set what little sight I had on my brother and friends. They all swarmed around Mike, who was still carrying me, and had both worry and relief plastered into there faces. I tried and tried to stay awake so I could hear the good news of finding Hannah and Beth, that they were safe in the cabin, but I had to wait to find my best friends that ran into the forest.

~~

I awoke at the cabin, feeling the aching pain of both my hangover and the gash on my forehead, along with a big bump.

"Chris, Josh? That you?" I questioned, squinting my eyes, making out the people in front of me.

I assumed, once my voice was heard, all of my friends had come to my side hearing gasps from all around the room. Even Jess and Em who had never taken a liking in me, were hovering over me with wide eyes.

"Bella, you had me so worried. Come here little sis." Chris engulfed me in a hug, quickly accepting his familiar hold, embracing his warmth.

I had mostly new cloths on, at least my hoodie and shirt that were frozen and soaked in blood had been changed, and my face that was drenched with dried blood was now clean.

"Good God, my head hurts like hell." I said reaching up to feel a widely open cut on my head, quickly pulling my hand back.

"Shit, that's deep." I winced in pain.

"That's what she said." Chris joked, I couldn't help but lay a small smile against my face.

"Sorry, couldn't help myself."

Josh, who wasn't nearly as light hearted as Chris and the others who had smiled at his joke, approached me with a strait face, gently placing his hand on my arm,"Bella, where's Hannah and Beth?" He questioned, my eyes opened wide, once again realizing the reason I was hurt in the first place, "Oh God Josh, I am so friggin sorry..I.. I couldn't find them.."

He closed his eyes tightly, pulling me into a hug.

Tears started to flow down my face "Josh, I'm sorry I couldn't find them, it's my..my fault, if only I didn't fall down that fucking hill.." I held my grip on him.

"It's anybody's but your fault. Don't blame yourself for the mess, we'll find them anyways."
